ISLAMABAD: On the 27th anniversary of Takbir, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif have confirmed their commitment to protect and protect the nation’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
In his statement, President Zardari said, “Pakistan’s nuclear capability continues as a minimal obstacle, which guarantees peace and ensures that no one can harm our sovereignty and national security.”

The President emphasized that on that day, the nation pays tribute to scientists, engineers, and civilian and military leadership, whose dedication and determination have made this success possible.
He said, “We also pay tribute to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, who laid the foundation for Pakistan’s nuclear program, which made the country’s defense inaccessible. We also acknowledge the role of Benazir Bhutto, which has promoted and strengthened our nuclear program.”
President Zardari pointed out that Pakistan does not seek conflict and is committed to the principles of peaceful coexistence and respect for international law.
Despite the recent indiscriminate Indian aggression, he said that Pakistan showed its strategic patience and peace.
President Zardari added, “Our calibration response under Operation Bonnan Um-Marsus was measured and effective, which forced the enemy to stop his actions.”
The President urged the nation to renew his pledge while reminding the day-to-day, to maintain and protect the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
‘Pledge to make Pakistan an economic power’
Prime Minister Shahbaz praised Pakistan’s nuclear journey and demanded a renewed unity and commitment to turn this country into an economic power.
In his message on this occasion, the Prime Minister thanked Allah Almighty and congratulated the people of Pakistan and said: “Today, I thank Allah Almighty and congratulate the whole nation and all patriotic Pakistanis.”
Pakistan, 27 years after becoming the seventh nuclear power in the world and becoming the first number in Muslim countries, emphasized that the Day of Takbir was more than a celebration and was a reminder of Pakistan’s commitment to protect its sovereignty.
The Prime Minister linked to this year’s commemoration, which he described as Pakistan’s recent success in defense of the “blasphemous war imposed by India”.
