Baku: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has once again called on India to engage in “meaningful and immediate” dialogue to solve important regional issues, including Kashmir, water distribution and terrorism.
Addressing the Presidents of the Pakistan Trick-e-Ezar Baijan trilateral summit, along with Presidents Taipe Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev, along with the presidents, said, “We must sit together and talk for peace.”
The meeting came when Premier continued his visit to his four countries to express his support for supporting Pakistan during the recent dispute against India.
Earlier, the Prime Minister ended his two -day bilateral visit for Iran and left for Azerbaijan. After their visits to Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan, they will leave for Tajikistan.
Addressing this summit, he emphasized Pakistan’s continued stance on regional peace and said: “We wished for peace tomorrow, today we want peace, and we will continue to wish peace in the future.”
Prime Minister Shahbaz said that Pakistan is looking for a resolution of the Kashmir issue in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council (UNSC) and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. He added that if New Delhi shows seriousness, Pakistan is also open to dialogue with India on counter -terrorism.
Referring to the recent aggression of India, the Prime Minister said that with the unlimited blessings and kindness of Almighty Allah, with the support of the people of Pakistan, and friendly countries, and the reaction of the Armed Forces, they were victorious.
He noted that unfortunately India tried to make the Sindh Water Treaty a weapon, which was a life of life for Pakistan’s 240 million population, which used water for agriculture, alcoholism and other purposes.
He maintained strongly, “It is unfortunate that India tried to threaten to stop the flow of water in Pakistan. It is not possible, it is never possible and will not be possible. We are making appropriate arrangements to make sure that India will never do so.”
He added, “We are the biggest victims of terrorism worldwide and they have lost 90,000 lives and have suffered $ 150 billion in economic loss over the past several decades. There can be no bigger demonstration with our commitment and determination to defeat this threat at all times.”
If India showed serious and honest cooperation, he said that Pakistan would be willing to discuss all issues, including promoting trade with India on the negotiating table.
The Prime Minister also appreciated the role of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, which he said that Pakistan’s armed forces were forced to fight with a high level of bravery and professionalism while the entire nation was behind them.
The Prime Minister said that during the dispute with India, he found Field Marshal “full of God, fearless, ironic, patience and patience to face this aggression.”
He reiterated that during the recent dispute, India failed to bring any reliable evidence against Pakistan and rejected his sincere offer for a neutral and transparent investigation of the so -called Pahalgam incident by any international body.
The Prime Minister said that during his previous trilateral form, the three countries discussed the issues of mutual interest and hoped that their meeting in Lachenger City would take their cooperation to new heights, according to the wishes and wishes of the people of three countries.
