WASHINGTON: China has become a top military and cyber threat to the United States, according to a report by US intelligence agencies published on Tuesday, saying Beijing is making “stable but uneven” development on the capacity to occupy Taiwan.
The Intelligence Community’s annual risk evaluation said that China has the ability to kill the United States with conventional weapons with conventional weapons, compromise with US infrastructure through cyber -attacks, and to target its assets in space, as well as homelessly to the United States as a high AI force by 2030.
The report states that Russia, Iran, North Korea and China, try to challenge the United States through campaigns to take advantage of it, the Moscow war in Ukraine has made it a “lack of lessons in terms of war against Western weapons and intelligence in a massive war.”
President Donald Trump’s intelligence chiefs issued before the Senate Intelligence Committee before testimony, the report states that China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has planned to make fake news, imitate personalities, and use a major language to use a network of attacks.
The director of the National Intelligence Tulsi Gabard, “China’s military is exposing modern capabilities, including hypertension weapons, stealth aircraft, modern submarines, strong space and cyber warfare assets and a major weapon of nuclear weapons.”
The report states, “China has almost Almost a multilateral, national -level strategy that is designed to displace the United States as the world’s most influential AI force by 2030.” CIA Director John Rutt Cliff told the committee that China made only “intermittent” efforts to reduce the flow of chemicals that promoted the US fantasy crisis due to the reluctance to reduce profitable Chinese businesses.
Trump has increased revenue on all Chinese imports to punish Beijing by 20 %, which has led to a failure to stop the shipment of fantasy chemicals. China denies that it plays a role in the crisis, which is the leading cause of high US drug deaths, but this has become a major point of friction between the Trump administration and Chinese officials.
“There is nothing to stop China … by breaking the phenotynial advances,” Rut Cliff said. The Chinese embassy in Washington did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The Democratic Senators heard the committee’s hearing on Rutcliffe and Gibard, discussing the most sensitive military plans in the Signal Messaging App Group on these disclosures, and shadowing the writ and Gibard on these revelations.
Several Republican senators focus their inquiries on non -documentary immigrants in the United States. The intelligence report states that large -scale illegal immigration has put US infrastructure under pressure and “unknown or suspected terrorists have been enabled to go to the United States.”
But US concerns about China dominated one -third in a 32 -page report, saying that Beijing is ready to increase military and economic repression toward Taiwan, the democratically ruled island of China has declared its territory.
“The PLA will probably use Taiwan in an attempt to seize and stop – and if needed, the US military is defeating intervention,” he said.
Nevertheless, he said that China faces domestic challenges, including corruption, settlement imbalance, and financial and economic headlines that can damage the justification of the ruling Communist Party at home.
