London: In his first type of indicator, Pakistan Super League (PSL) champions Lahore Qalandars brought their Championship Trophy to the UK to celebrate with Sam Billings and Tom Kiran, who were able to play in the final matches of the tournament.
The celebration program was held at the Pakistan High Commission in London, hosted by the High Commissioner of Pakistan in the UK, Dr. Mohammad Faisal.
The gathering was attended by prominent members of Qalandars, including CEO Atif Rana, COO Sameen Rana, Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Sam Billings and Tom Kiran, the stars of Qalandars based in England.

Shaheen added, “Both Sam and Tom lost the finals, so we decided to bring the trophy instead. This is something that makes Qalandars so special – we like to share happiness every moment even if it is smaller,” Shaheen said, “Shaheen said.

Sameen Rana revealed future plans to deepen the engagement of the Qalandars with the UK’s cricket landscape, saying: “We plan to run abroad in the UK here and intend to cooperate with the county clubs through exchange programs, and not only helpful to help them.
Najam Sethi, the launch of the PSL, appears on the team’s journey and the origin of the name. He said, “When Atif told me that he wanted to name the team ‘Qalandars’, I was not initially a fan. I thought we needed a warrior name. But Atif insisted on highlighting the Sufi tradition.

Dr. Faisal, who hosted the gathering, expressed his pride of the team’s achievements and said: “It is heartbreaking to welcome our sports honorees. We wanted to host a big program, but the time was short.”
He added: “Lahore Qalandar is doing an amazing job, and we hope that when these players represent their national teams, the success continues globally.”
