By giving priority to these changes, Pakistan can create a prepared generation for the future to tackle global challenges.
Habib University is focusing on a purpose -driven approach, renewing a new appreciation of higher education in Pakistan, which is to tackle the challenges of the country’s educational and industry. From its inception, the University is committed to innovation, which offers students to learn learning, which is beyond the traditional education model. One of the major moves was the introduction of the Habib Liberal Corps curriculum, which laid the foundation for a new type of learning environment.
In 2016, the university became the first in Pakistan to introduce design thinking as part of its curriculum. It was in partnership with high international universities to help students be prepared for a world that continues to change.
The main idea was to create an educational system that goes beyond traditional education. Instead of memorizing the facts, students are taught to think creative, solve real -world problems and focus on people’s needs. They also learn that teams work well and how to adopt quickly – skills that are more important than ever.
To make this new way of learning, Habib University set special places, where students can work on creative, hand -on projects and learn how to solve real -world problems. From these spaces, students had the opportunity to find ideas, build things and think differently. In just 10 years, these efforts have helped the university become a modern institution. It has not only trained students to meet today’s job market, but has also played an important role in changing how universities and industries worked together in Pakistan, encouraged maximum support between the two.
The University believes that effective cooperation between industry and academia is the key to Pakistan’s progress. However, most of the current relationships between the two sectors are limited to basic jobs, short training programs and symbolic advisory boards.
