ISLAMABAD: Referring to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandpur, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Justice (PTI) founder CM, PTI leader Azam Swati has said that he has supported Gandpur after recent differences in the party’s ranks.
Swati said in a statement, “If we want to save the country,” we should keep them silent, which led to conflict and badlam.
Following a recent statement from Gandpur, the rifles within the PTI have intensified, urging the party leadership to refrain from issuing public statements to its senior members.
PTI National Assembly (MNAS) members Asad Qaiser, Shahram Khan Tarakai, and Atif Khan have demanded an investigation into Gandapur’s statement.
Meanwhile, Ali Khan, Salman Akram Raja, and other central party leaders have allegedly prevented three MNAs from making public statements and decided to raise the matter directly with Imran.
Atif said that the Chief Minister’s remarks could damage the PTI founder’s movement, and efforts to release them should not be harassed. He called on Gandapur to focus on governance and avoid unnecessary statements, as it could harm both the party and Imran’s campaign.
He added that the leadership of Elima, Salman, and PTI had assured them that the matter would be presented to the founder of the party, and now they would wait for Imran’s decision.
In addition, Tarakai also said that such statements could harm the movement under the leadership of the PTI founder. “Our focus should be on the release of PTI founder and unfairly detained party members.”
He emphasized that the KPCM should channel its energy towards restoring law and order and improving governance.
Shahram added that the PTI Corps Committee has reacted strongly to Gandpur’s statements. “We also have the right to respond,” he added, but at this time the internal division will only harm the efforts to release the PTI’s founding chairman. “
The concerns were raised when local media reports quoted Gandapur as claiming that they were talking to the establishment in “personal capacity”.
The media also reported that at a recent meeting with Imran in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, the former Prime Minister directed the KP Chief Minister to re -engage with the establishment.
Amran to talk to ‘Raazi’ Gate Go
Swati, on the other hand, took oath from the Quran, saying that false news was circulated, which had attributed statements to PTI founder Imran.
In his statement, Swati clarified several points, including the story behind Imran’s talks with Imran in jail and his efforts to establish contacts with the establishment.
He refused to spread false information attributed to the former Prime Minister. He added that Bashra Bibi was present during the meeting with the PTI founder.
The PTI leader also said that in December 2022, the PTI founder asked him to start talks with the then Army Chief.
According to Swati, Imran expressed his confidence and directed him to engage with the military leadership.
After consulting the PTI founder, he tried to connect with the Army Chief’s teachers. He also tried to talk to the Army Chief by former President Arif Alvi, but these efforts were useless.
According to Swati, the PTI founder said that if that other party was ready, he was ready to talk from day one.
Addressing a question about his whereabouts on November 26, Politico said he was in Attock Jail at the time. He said he was tortured.
While saying that he did not want to divide it into the ranks of the party, Swati said that he also told the PTI founder: “Khan sir!
KPCM Spokes defended Gandapur
In addition, a spokesman for the KP Chief Minister said that Gandpur was not only “Amin” but also a trustee (Amen) for PTI founders, party workers and the public.
The official said: “Ali Amin took charge of the party at a time when everyone else was hiding.”
Stressing further on Gandapur’s commitment with the party during the challenging hours, the spokesman said: “Ali Amin Gandpur arrived three times D Chowk, at a time when a so -called representative even came out of his house.”
He added that even during the elections, KPCM gave tickets to ordinary workers, friends and the poor, while the elite class was ignored.
Spokes stressed that if the PTI founder has full confidence in any worker, it was just Gandapur.
Atif Gandapur bitter relationships
On the other hand, it seems that the party’s differences have increased widely, as the appointment of ATIF as president of PTI for the Peshawar region was allegedly not received by Gandpur.
While other members of the WhatsApp group congratulated the ATIF on March 27 for becoming the President of the Peshawar region, Gandapur made a joke on the occasion of his appointment.
Talking to Geo News, Atif said he would not comment on the KPCM remarks in the group, adding that he did not respond to anyone.
Sources quoted KP chief executive as saying that he removed the ATIF from his post on his poor performance and the direction of the PTI founder.
“Despite the removal of the PTI founder, the ATIF was restored,” he said.
