WASHINGTON: Two NASA astronauts, who were trapped in space due to technical problems, finally returned to the ground after nine months of unexpected stay, and a Space X capsule sprayed safely from the Florida coast.
A Space X staff Dragon Space Ship, which was carrying Boch Vilmor and Sunny Williams – exactly the fellow American Nick Hague and Russian Cosmonate Alexander Gorbonov – at 5:57 pm (2157 GMT) on the Florida coast for a lightweight downtown before deploying a parachute.
Ground teams sprung joy, when a misleading spacecraft called Freedom, resisting the burning temperature of 3,500 degrees Fahrenheit (2,000 degrees Celsius) during re -enrollment, was permanently pressed on the waves below a clean, sunny sky.
Fast boats ran into the capsule for initial safety checks, soon there will be a recovery vessel that will recover the staff before arriving at Houston to start a 45 -day recovery program.
“What is a ride – I see a capsule full of friends here.”
The quartet left the International Space Station about 17 hours ago after the final farewell and throat with the rest of the staff members.
Former Navy pilots and veterans of two former space missions, Vilmor and Williams flew to the Arbille Lab in June last year, believed to have a long journey to test the Boeing star liner in the first crew flight.
But the ship caused propolishes problems and was disqualified to fly them back instead of returning them.
He was then re -assigned to NASA’s Space X -9 mission, which reached the ISS last September with two minor staff in comparison to the usual four -to adjust the bodies, which was widely known as “trapped” astronauts.
In early Sunday, a rescue team called 10 staff took a bandit with the station, and paved the way for the staff team.
‘Incredible flexibility’
The establishment of 286 days of Vilmor and Williams exceeds the routine six months of ISS circulation, but is only sixth in US records for a single mission period.
Frank Rubio finished first in 2023 in 371 days, while the world record is with Russian Cosmont Valerie Poliakov, who spent 437 days aboard the Mir Station.
According to the Center for Space Medicine’s Rehana Bokhari at the Beller College of Medicine, it becomes “equal to the course” in terms of health risks.
Lack of muscle and bone, challenges such as fluid change that can cause kidney stones and vision problems, and when returning to the environment of gravity, the balance of balance is well understood and effectively managed.
“People like Sunny Williams are actually known for their interest in exercise, and so I am sure she exercises more than her usual prescription,” Bokhari told AFP.
Nevertheless, the unexpected nature of their growing establishment – away from their families, and initially attract the public interest and sympathy, without enough equipment.
“If you find out that you have gone to work today and are going to be trapped in your office for the next nine months, you may be an attack on panic,” Joseph Keller, a psychologist at Embry-Reddal Aeronautical University, told AFP.
“These people have shown incredible flexibility.”
Trump’s weight is inside
Former President Donald Trump and his closest adviser, Elon Musk – who leads Space X, also became an unexpectedly a political power stick.
Such allegations have pointed out a scream in the space community, especially when the Musk did not provide any details and NASA’s plan for the return of the astronauts has changed drastically after the re -assignment of their staff 9.
Trump has also drawn attention to his strange remarks, referring to Williams, a former Navy captain, who has a US record for a long time in space, and speculating about a personal dynamic as a “wild -haired woman” and between the two.
“They have been left there – I hope they like each other, maybe they love each other, I don’t know,” he said during a recent White House press conference.
