London: The UK’s leading newspaper, Telegraph, has apologized to Pakistani American technology businessman Zia Chishti for publishing allegations of sexual misconduct against him.
Chishti filed a lawsuit in the UK High Court against the Telegraph Media Group – Daily Telegraph and Telegraph Online publishers, challenging thirteen articles published between November 2021 and February 2023. The reports accused the former employee of Tatiana Spattees Wood for re -harassing and attacking.
Chishti, whose full name is Muhammad Ziaullah Khan Chishti, fought a severe legal battle with the article in London for two years, which included the disclosure and review of thousands of documents between Chishti and Spitus Wood.
Between November 2021 and February 2023, the Telegraph published a series of articles that reported the allegations leveled by the United States Congress committee through Space Wood. Chishti launched a baseless action against the telegraph in response.
Subsequently, the High Court proceedings obtained hundreds of documents obtained by a sub -section of Ms Spotus Wood’s lawyers in the United States, as well as hundreds of documents between Chishti and Spitus Wood, as well as hundreds of documents.
Communication included text messages in which Spots Wood appeared to be asking that during this period he should be “seduced” by Chishti in which he claimed that he was being harassed. These documents were intimidated, which shows that Spots Wood repeatedly pursued Chishti with romantic interest during the period in which she was claiming that she was harassed and attacked-and after Chishti, her allegations were made public and her wife was made public.
The oldest British newspaper has now acknowledged the allegations that he published was wrong, misleading and notorious. According to the apology, the Telegraph has withdrawn its position that his allegations against Chishti are true and he will run the record in the upper part of a record thirteen separate articles that the Telegraph published about him.
This will be published separately in both the print and online edition of the telegraph. The Telegraph also agreed to pay Chishti to pay for significant losses and legal costs.
The Telegraph acknowledged that Chishti had termed the allegations made to the US Congress permanently controversial, which provided him with legal immunity against claims of notoriety. The Telegraph also acknowledged that although it tried to provide evidence to the Congress to prove the allegations against it, the Congress did not give Chishti a chance to do so.
The Telegraph read in the Royal Court of Justice in London today: “In a series of articles published by the Telegraph from November 2021 to February 2023, Tatiana Spitus Wood, a former US Congress, has reported the allegations of the company’s founder and CEO. Dia, on which they have a severe dispute.
“The Telegraph has made a statement in the open court that he has withdrawn his previous position that the aforementioned allegations are true and that he has been made in the public interest. The Telegraph apologized to Chishti and his family for their damage. Finally, the Telegraph has agreed to pay enough money to Chishti by contributing to the losses and its legal costs.
Talking to the media outside the court after winning the case, Zia Chishti said the telegraph pardon and settlement is a step in the right direction.
With this technology businessman, his family and lawyers said: “I did not commit the horrific movements in which the spotwood and the telegraph were accused of me. The allegations have given birth to a three -and -a -half -year trial, which has given my family a lot of trouble and have hurt my family. The disadvantage of publishing this apology helps me to repair a widespread damage in the UK.
Harvard Law School’s Emirates Felix Frankfater Professor, Felix Frankfater Professor Alan Dfufts commented: “Chishti’s settlement with the Telegraph further describes his position that the allegations against him are the only: accusations. I have advised Chishti with interest.
“Last year, Chishti won the biggest defamation award in Chishti’s history, following similar challenging allegations related to Spots Wood published by Magazine Magazine. Now with the Telegraph, withdrawing its defense of defense, it is clear that there is no opportunity against any opportunity against them, without any opportunity.
He added, “For example, the Judiciary Committee of the United States House of Representatives allowed his accusation to equalize his allegations without providing any opportunity to deny Mr Chishti. Such behavior is an unfortunate feature of the current climate, in which the rule of justice is to follow the principles of justice. And has led to a better balance between the rights of the accused.
Ben Chews, who have also represented Hollywood actor Johnny Deep in his historic trial against his ex -wife Amber Hart, in his historic trial against his former wife Amber Hart, against Spotus Wood and his lawyers Nancy Smith and Michael Zavig.
Ben Chio said, “One of the record newspaper in the UK, Telegraph, has abandoned his right to defend his right to the allegations of Spotus Wood and now he has apologized to Chishti in the open court. After his decisive victory in Pakistan, he has achieved further decision.
Against the Telegraph, Chishti’s lawyer in the UK is the Jean Clemens of MichelleMurus representing him, and his barriers were KC and Jacob Dean of the 5 RB Adrian Page. Clemens commented: “After a two -year legislature, including a widespread basic evidence, Chishti has been forgiven for the loss of him and his family through severe notorious allegations against him through this pardon.”
The scope of telegraph forgiveness and distribution is unique in the British press, which shows the severity of the telegraph’s error. The Telegraph has also agreed that the published apology will be permanently available on a paper website without a payland. This apology will be available on each of the thirteen articles published on Chishti and Tatiana Spitis Wood. The apology is that the allegations can no longer be supported by being true or in public interest.
Legal experts say the telegraph is facing potentially unusual losses in court for severe infamy of Chishti. Earlier, the Telegraph suffered a setback in June 2023 when the first case was lost in the article when Justice Susan Collins Rice decided that the allegations leveled by the paper had made contradictions about the facts and that they were clearly notorious for Chishti.
Finding against the telegraph argument that it is just reporting what Sapatus Wood has alleged, and in addition, Justice Rice concluded that the telegraph reporting was not balanced and made a different impression that “where there is a smoke.” The telegraph continued to fight for almost a year and finally agreed to resolve the trial a few weeks before.
Chishti has also sued Space Wood and his lawyer Nancy Smith and Michael Zavig for defamation in the United States. In his US complaint, Chishti also included extensive text and email conversations with Space Wood, which intends that Spaces Wood had lied to the United States Congress, and that the two had spread unanimous romantic relations over many years. One of the central parts of Space Wood’s defense is that since his allegations against Chishti were given to the US Congress, he has a legal immunity against the Chishti’s notoriety case.
Zia Chishti was the founder of Invisileine, which made him a public list on Nice Deck in 2001. Of the Resources Group, which led to a public listing on the Pakistan Stock Exchange in 2003. And Affairs Limited.
