Director General for Inter Services Public Relations (DGISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry on Friday called the Jaffar Express attack in Pakistan a “continuation of terrorism under Indian patronage”.
Addressing a media briefing prepared by Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, the DGISPR said: “The latest attack on other incidents of Balochistan and terrorists in the past… We believe that the major of them are sponsored. [attacks] Do you have an eastern neighbor?
During the attack on the Jafar Express on Tuesday, the Out Lead Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) blew up the train tracks and took more than 440 passengers hostage in a long time with security services in a remote hill pass in Bolan district.
The army said after clearing the train and rescued the hostages, 33 attackers were killed. Before the operation began, the terrorists had martyred 26 passengers, while four security personnel were martyred during the operation.

Army, FC personnel among the martyred hostages
Eliminating the casualties in the incident, the DGISPR revealed that 26 martyred train passengers included 18 army and FC security personnel, three Pakistan Railway officials and other departments and five civilians.
He added that the terrorist attack could increase the number of casualties as 37 of 37 passengers were injured.
The military spokesman said they had five operations.
The DGISPR said that the terrorists stopped Jaffar Express through an IED blast in the mountainous region, where access is difficult.
Meanwhile, a media war led by Indian media began in support of terrorists.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry said the Jaffar Express incident was a continuation of India’s policy for terrorism in Pakistan.
He remarked, “The incident of Jafar Express is a continuation of the same policy, where the same sponsorship was engineered and pushed.”
Criticizing the Indian media, the DGISPR said that fake videos were created by spreading malicious propaganda in connection with the Jaffar Express attack on social media platforms using artificial intelligence (AI).
“Indian media spread propaganda using fake videos to exaggerate the situation,” he said.
“The media of India tried to make a story [against Pakistan] By broadcasting fake videos, he added that Indian media also played old videos of terrorists taken from social media.
“A [terrorists] The activity was continued [Balochistan] The military spokesman said that the other activity was going on Indian media.
Giving a briefing about the hijacking incident with the help of maps, LT General Chaudhry said that the terrorists were in different groups, adding that one of the militant groups has placed women and children inside the train.
“The rest of the passengers were brought out of the train by terrorists and divided into groups,” he added.
He added that the militants issued a group of hostages in the evening to create a “false impression” of humanitarian values.
However, some hostages managed to escape when the opportunity, they revealed that the terrorists also opened fire on the escaped passengers.
The Lieutenant General said the terrorists were in touch with their handlers in Afghanistan.
“With the communication of terrorists, we learned that they have suicide bombers,” he added.
LT General Chaudhry said that during the last clearance operation, terrorists could not harm anyone.
‘Commander of terrorists released from Afghan prisons’
While talking to journalists, the CM of Balochistan condemned the terrorist attack on Jaffar Express and paid tribute to security forces to release the hostages during a successful operation against the militants. He also thanked the international community for condemning the terrorist incident.
He added, “We are involved in a intelligence war against Pakistan through Afghanistan’s Research and Enliest Wing (RAW) and other complimentary agencies.”
He revealed that “terrorist commanders were released from Afghan prisons.
The Chief Minister said that there was a difference between the terrorist groups, however, RAW united them.
He added that RAW broke the alliance between TTP, BLA and other terrorist groups in the province.
“Terrorist commanders were released from Afghan prisons,” he said, adding that the Afghan soil is being used to launch terrorist attacks inside the Pakistani territory.
Balochistan Chief Executive Lambasting PTI said that terrorist elements were released during the era of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He added, “There are missing persons in the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries in the region.
CM Bugti said he was not an invasive Baloch but a “terrorist”.
“Challenging the environment of intelligence”
In response to a question, the DGISPR said security agencies are working 24 hours to find leads and attacks.
He added, “Balochistan offers a very difficult environment for intelligence.
The ISPR spokesman said, “I do not agree with the term ‘intelligence failure’ because there are thousands of intelligence successes that you do not hear about, the events that never happened because our intelligence found them and neutralized it.”
Afghan land use for terrorist attacks in Pakistan
The head of the army’s media wing further revealed that the links to the terrorist incident have been returned from Afghanistan. “We have a credible intelligence that the archery networks of these attacks are operating across the border in Afghanistan,” he said.
An ISPR spokesman revealed that there was also a prominent figure among those involved who had previously served in the Afghan army and is now active in terrorist activities against Pakistan.
“The whole series of events indicates external involvement, especially from elements based in Afghanistan,” he added.
He also praised the bravery and professionalism of the forces who endanger their lives to protect innocent citizens from a threat.
He said, “We are grateful to Allah and salute our brave sons who have saved valuable lives in a very dangerous and difficult environment, with their detailed planning, distant, courage and devotion.”
National Action Plan
He reminded that after 2004, a national consensus against terrorism was created, which led to a comprehensive National Action Plan (APP). “All political parties and stakeholders sat together and prepared a consensus, which became the basis of the National Action Plan. The previous government reviewed and revised it, which resulted in a new commitment to counter -terrorism.
He explained that the revised NAP contains 14 key points that solve the basic causes and procedures of terrorism. “If we focus on implementing these 14 points in the letter and the spirit, I am sure that terrorism can be eliminated,” he said.
Responding to a recent question about the recent increase in terrorist activities, the ISPRDG said, “Without hesitation, I would say that unless these 14 points are fully implemented, it will be a challenge to achieve sustainable peace.”
General Chaudhry called on all stakeholders, including political parties, institutions and the public, to play their part in implementing the Nepal, emphasizing that national unity and consensus is essential to overcome the threat of terrorism.
When asked about why terrorism increased, he said that the pace of implementation of Nepal’s 14 points needs to be considered first. He added that law enforcement agencies carried out 59,775 intelligence -based operations in 2024, both Major and Minor. So far in 2025, 11,654 IBOs have been performed.
He added, “This year, we are 180 IBOs daily. Meanwhile, about 1,250 terrorists were” sent to hell “in 2024 and 2025, while 563 security personnel were martyred in a duty line.
Responding to a question about increasing terrorist activities, ISPRDG said, “Every moment, security forces are engaged in counter -terrorism efforts. Daily sacrifices are being made. Children are being orphaned due to this fight.”
Terrorism incident
On March 11, the terrorists blew up the railway route and threw rockets at Jaffar Express when they were traveling from Balochistan’s capital Quetta to Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), with 440 people.
Security forces launched a rescue mission on Tuesday afternoon.
“346 hostages were released during the operation and more than 30 terrorists were killed during the operation,” an army official told AFP.
The attack was immediately claimed by the BLA, which released a video of an explosion on the tracks, followed by dozens of militants hiding in the mountains.
The passengers who escaped or released by the militants told panic that the gunmen seized the train, sorted through identity cards, shot the soldiers but freed some families.
“They asked us to get out of the train one by one. They separated the women and asked them to leave. They also saved the elders,” said Mohammad Naveed, who managed to escape.
“They told us to come out, saying that we would not be harmed. When about 185 people came out, they chose the people and shot them.”
Babar Masia, a 38 -year -old Christian laborer, told AFP on Wednesday that he and his family walk for several hours from the mountains to reach a train, which could take them to a temporary hospital on the railway platform.
“Our women pleaded with them, and they saved us,” he said.
“They told us not to go out and look back. As soon as we ran, I saw many others walking with us.”
Several passengers told AFP that the gunmen demanded to see the identity card to confirm who was outside the province, as the recent BLA attacks are like an increase.
One passenger asked not to identify, “He came and examined ID and service cards and shot two soldiers in front of me and took the remaining four … I don’t know where it is.”
“The terrorists who were Punjabi were taken,” he said.
