Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Monday expressed hopeful about Pakistan’s development despite the opposition’s screams.
Addressing a ceremony to scrutinize the CM Punjab Asan Krober program, the provincial chief executive said, “The people of Pakistan are fed up with violence and chaos … they are seeing improvement in their lives.”
He further criticized the previous government for raising the country’s inflation to 38 percent, saying that foreign investment was flown when he was in power.

Referring to the Asan Cirobar program, the Chief Minister said that the government is providing interest -free loans from Rs 1 million to Rs 30 million to establish its business.
“Loans are being provided on 100 % merit … no kindness will work.”
He said that creating employment is not an easy task. He said that last year Pakistan’s economy has improved, which improves people’s quality of life.
He added, “When we came to power, the inflation rate was hitting 38 %, which has now dropped to 4 %.”
