Pakistan opened its Tree Series journey with convincing win against Afghanistan to secure the results at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Chasing a difficult target of 183 runs, Afghanistan’s batting unit opened at 143 in 19.5 overs, despite the knocking of Rashid Khan.
The bowling all -rounder scored the highest score with just 16 delivery with Quick Fire 39, tied with a four and five sixes, but their efforts were insufficient to run Afghanistan for glory.
Afghanistan was in a comfortable position at the end of the seventh over because it was 60/1, batsman Rehmanullah Gurbaz dominated Pakistan’s bowling attack.
Left -arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz gave Pakistan a very important progress through a bowling Gorbaz on Monday. He made 27 balls with three fours and a six.
After his dismissal, Darwish Rasuli (21) and Sidiqullah Atal (23) tried to keep the pace, but they scored 25 runs during their third wicket partnership, which ended with the latter’s removal from Harris Rauf in the 12th over.

The veteran top order batsman Fakhr Zaman then joined Sam Ayub in the middle, and he anchoring 29 runs for the other, which ended with Rashid Khan in the seventh over.
Ayub scored a careful 14 runs with two boundaries.
Pakistan lost two more wickets – Fakhar Zaman (20) and Hassan Nawaz (nine) – quickly in succession and as a result, 83/4 in 11.1 overs.
Following this reduction, Agha and all -rounder Mohammad Nawaz started retaliating on the bowlers of Afghanistan and added 53 runs for the fifth wicket in just 28 delivery.
Mujib and Rehman eventually broke the position by getting rid of Nawaz in the 16th over, which participated with 21 balls off 11 balls, including one four and two sixes.

Afghan supporters hope for their team’s chances against Pakistan. Despite the intense heat of Sharjah, the crowd has a high sense of cricket.
