Moscow: US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Alaska on Friday, with Washington’s Ukrainian ceasefire agreement being hanged in balance, and a late proposal was proposed from Putin for a possible nuclear deal.
Talks at a Air Force base in the Cold War era in Alaska indicates the first meeting between the two leaders after Trump returned to the White House. They have been against the backdrop of concern in Ukraine and Europe that Trump can compromise on Kiev’s place.
Trump, who had previously claimed that he could end the Russian war in Ukraine within 24 hours, acknowledged Thursday that a three -and -a -half -year conflict proved to be more difficult than expected.
He said that if his conversation with Putin runs well, then a three -way summit was set up with Ukrainian President Woldmeer Zelinsky – which was not invited to Friday’s meeting – more important than the encounter with Putin.
Trump is pushing for a war to strengthen his certificates as a World Peace Prize world peace maker, which has made it clear to him.
Ukraine and its European allies were pleased with their conference call on Wednesday, in which, Trump agreed that Ukraine must join any kind of dialogue about seeding land. Zlinski said that Trump also supported the idea of security guarantees in a post -war settlement, though the US president did not mention him in any public.
On Wednesday, his fears of Trump Putin’s deal were reduced, which presses Ukraine to give regional and other privileges.
Putin, whose war economy is showing stress, needs Trump to help Russia remove from tightening Western sanctions, or at least not target Moscow more, Trump is at risk.
A day before the summit, the Kremlin leader took over Trump’s possibility of something else that Trump wants – a new nuclear weapons -controlled deal to change the last survivor, which expires in February next year.
Trump says Putin will deal with Ukraine
Trump said at the summit that he thinks Putin will make a contract on Ukraine, but he has blown hot and cold on the possibility of progress. In the meantime, Putin praised him, which he called the US “sincere efforts” to end the war.

Sources close to the Kremlin told Reuters that it seems as if the two sides have already been able to find some non -specific joint grounds.
“Apparently, tomorrow (Friday) will agree on certain terms because Trump cannot be denied, and we are not in a position to deny it (due to sanctions pressure),” who speak on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.
Putin set harsh conditions for a complete ceasefire, but a compromise could be a phased trace in the air war, although both sides have accused the other of being on the previous agreement.
Analysts say Putin can try to look as if he is giving Trump free to free in Ukraine when he wants.
“If they (Russian) are able to make a contract on the table that creates a ceasefire, but it controls Russia’s growing dynamics, it does not create any real obstacle on earth or in the Ukraine’s heavens … which will be a wonderful result in Putin’s context.”
Trump suggests that land transfer will require
Zlinski has accused Putin of playing and playing for time to avoid US secondary sanctions and refused to hand over Moscow to any area.

Trump has said that the transfer of land between Russia and Ukraine can be a potential way to break the log.
Putin, whose forces control almost a fifth of Ukraine, wants Trump to begin to restore the shrinking economic, political and business relations between the two countries, and, for example, do not make this process in progress on Ukraine.
But it is unclear whether Putin is willing to compromise on Ukraine. In power for a quarter of a century, the head of the Kremlin has set his legacy with something that he can sell to his people as a victory.
The biggest purpose of their war is Russian control over the Donbas industrial region in eastern Ukraine, consisting of Donetsk and Lohnsic regions. Despite the steady growth, about 25 % of Donetsk is out of Russian control.
Putin also wants full control over Ukraine’s Kearsen and Zapurizia areas. NATO membership is descended from the table for cue. And limits on the size of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
Ukraine has said that these terms are unacceptable and controversial, which are equivalent to saying to deserve it.
