NEW YORK: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has termed Gaza as a cemetery of international law, urging the United Nations to grant Palestine a full membership, implement a permanent ceasefire, and ensure that uninterrupted aid will reach the location.
“The blockade of aid [and] Addressing a high -level global in the United Nations, DPM Dar said, “Deliberately targeting urban infrastructure, including refugee camps, hospitals and aid convoy.
“This collective punishment should be stopped now!”
Saudi Arabia and France hosted the program, titled “Palestinian question peaceful settlement and the implementation of two states resolution”.
The DPM also praised the recent actions of European countries, supporting the Palestinian state:
“We welcome France’s decision to acknowledge the Palestinian state and encourage other countries that have not yet done so far to increase identity and contribute to this global pace for the Palestinian state.”
Demanding Palestine globally and demanding full membership of the United Nations, he said that today Gaza has become a cemetery of international law and humanitarian principles.
“Israel’s death and destruction, which includes more than 58,000 Palestinians, most women and children, is a violation of international humanity law, UN resolutions and international court justice.”
Demonstrating Islamabad’s strong commitment to a fair and lasting solution, the DPM confirmed a meaningful partnership in the Palestinian and human development by the country beyond political statements.
“Pakistan is ready to extend support for our Palestinian brothers and sisters in key areas such as the provision of public administration, health, education and services in harmony with the Palestinian leadership.”
He said that Pakistan is ready to contribute to the construction of these institutions, including participation in the Arab-and-IIC plan and in any international security method.
Dar ended his speech, saying that delay in justice was a denial of justice.
The Foreign Minister said, “But when justice is denied for generations, the consequences are also surprising,” he added, “he added,” Palestine’s question has influenced the entire region and beyond. “
Stressing that the occupation must now be over, Dar said, “We should give hope to the Palestinian people.”
The Deputy Prime Minister said, “Now is the time to have freedom, self -determination and the state, and Palestine’s full membership of the United Nations. It will be the best guarantee of lasting peace in the region.”
It is worth noting that the UN General Assembly decided last year that such a conference should be held in 2025. However, the conference was postponed in June after the Israeli invasion of Iran.
‘Now the world needs to work’
Earlier, UN Secretary -General Antonio Guterres launched a conference with a clear message: “The world needs to work to resolve the two states of the Israeli Palestinian conflict.”
He said the measure of destruction in Gaza was unbearable and made it clear – there is no excuse to wipe Gaza from the map.
Calling the conference in a timely manner, Guterres said it could be an important turning point, which leads to real and lasting progress towards the elimination of occupation.
He said that the effort could pursue things in fulfilling the common goal of a viable two -state solution.
French FM’s remarks
French Foreign Minister Jean Noel Beirut said the fighting in Gaza must end-and that could not end. He emphasized that what comes after that, the Israeli Palestinian conflict should have a real move towards a sustainable solution.
He warned that the war was jeopardizing the peace and stability of the entire region.
Beirut said the solution to only one two states can resolve the legitimate expectations of both Palestinians and Israelis, adding that there is no plan B-Political dialogue is the only way forward.
We, Israel left the fat
The United States and Israel stayed away from a UN conference on the resolution of the two Palestinian states.
US Department of State spokesman Timi Bruce said the conference was held at the wrong time and would not be useful.
He argued that the event could really make peace more difficult.
