ISLAMABAD: The Standing Committee of the National Assembly on Science and Technology expressed deep concern and disappointment over the failure of the timely delivery of the necessary financial resources and the promise of the National University of Technology (NuteCH).
The National Assembly’s Standing Committee of Science and Technology meeting was held on Thursday at the National University of Technology (Newtech) on Thursday.
The chairman and members of the committee visited various departments and teachers of the university to observe the educational environment, ongoing research activities and overall infrastructure. During the visit, he talked to faculty members, administrative staff and students to gain insights on the powers, challenges and future capabilities of the company.
The committee emphasized that such violations damage the growth and operational performance of the national institution of high strategic importance.
The committee strictly recommended that all the promises made to Natic be fulfilled without further delay, ensuring that the university continued to be on its way to the nation. Lieutenant General (R) Anji Mozam Aizz, Natic’s Rector gave the university’s vision and mission committee, its structures, teachers, program courses, enrollment standards, library resources, quality management system, scholarships, students’ improvement, promotion, prominence, prominence, prominence, prominence, chamber, and cultivation. The committee acknowledged that in a short period of just six years, the notification has emerged as a premiere agency nationally and internationally. It is a success that reflects the insights of its administration, teachers, and students, the planning, educational virtues and tireless commitment.
Committee members emphasized the importance of launching a comprehensive awareness campaign to inform and encourage students from remote and backward areas of the country about the educational opportunities available at the university.
He noted that many talented students from remote areas are unaware of such organizations due to access to access and communication. Several members strongly encouraged the university administration to include agriculture -based courses in its educational offerings.
He highlighted the importance of agricultural education in a country like Pakistan, where the economy relies heavily on the agriculture sector. He noted that such programs would not only empower rural youth but also contribute to national food security and sustainable development.
The members of the committee offered the land and assured full support for the establishment of additional campuses in southern Punjab and Sindh.
He confirmed that these regions, which are still low in terms of educational infrastructure, are potentially rich, will benefit greatly from the local presence of a high -quality institution like this university.
The committee called on the administration to seriously consider these proposals to consider their expansion strategy, to ensure equal access to quality education in all regions of the country.
