Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, rejected Pakistan’s Pakistani Chinese aid claims during the recent armed dispute, saying that other states’ names “is a poor attempt to play camp politics, fully involved in bilateral military configuration”.
Addressing the graduating officers of the National Security and War Course at the National Defense University (NDU), the COA said that India was taking advantage of a major geographical political competition as a so -called pure security provider in a region.
The Army Chief’s comment refers to the claims of the Deputy Chief of the Indian Army, who said Beijing had “directly input” Islamabad during a deadly dispute between two nuclear armed neighbors in May.
