Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has strongly condemned the killing of nine passengers in the Sardhaka area, calling the attack a brutal act of terrorism and vowing to a strong response against those responsible.
“We will crush each of the terrorist plans with full force, unreasonable commitment and complete unity,” CM Bugti said in a statement.
On Thursday night, at least nine passengers traveling on the coaches belonging to Punjab were abducted by unidentified gunmen in the Sardhaka area.
The incident took place near Zhob, a town in northern Balochistan, where armed attackers stopped passenger buses, removed passengers, and selected identification and nine persons.
Assistant Commissioner Zhob, Naveed Alam, said the attackers opened fire on the kidnapped passengers after being removed from the vehicles.
Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind confirmed the incident and said that the terrorists pulled the passengers from the buses, identified them, and then brutally killed nine innocent Pakistanis.
He said the killing of civilians without defense is a clear example of the brutality of Fitna Pandistan.
In the statement, the Chief Minister expressed deep grief over the loss of innocent lives and assured that those behind the attack would be brought to justice.
He said that the terrorists have once again revealed the nature of their cowardice and the beasts, adding that the blood of the innocent will not be bleeding.
CM Bugti vowed to eliminate all terrorist networks associated with Fatn-Aidistan. He added, “Our response will be tough and decisive.”
The Prime Minister did not show any kindness for the terrorists
On Friday, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemned the abduction and murder of bus passengers in Balochistan area of Sardhaka, expressing their commitment to avenge the blood of innocent people.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister said, “We will deal with the terrorists in full force. The blood of innocent people will be avenged.”
“With determination, unity and power, we will fight the curse of terrorism and completely root it,” he added.
‘Indian proxy behind the attack’
Talking to Geo News on Friday, provincial government spokesman Shahid Rind said the attack was not an isolated incident-this is a continuation of past incidents where innocent civilians were deliberately targeted by Indian proxies, including Fitna Munnatan.
The terrorists launched separate attacks in the province’s Mastung, Kalat and Saradagai areas early in the day, he said. However, he emphasized, saying that all the attacks by security forces in Masting and Kalat successfully withdrew.
He said the government had set up a set of SOPS for the security of these passenger buses, adding that the journey was prohibited overnight on the entire journey of N-70.
He also confirmed that a general threat to terrorism had already been issued, after which security was prepared in Kalat and Mastung, and passenger trains were stopped from traveling a day ago. However, there was no danger about the area where the incident took place.
Indian -backed terrorist groups have been active in Balochistan, especially in the recent war against Pakistan. Earlier today, the top leadership of the army also pledged to take decisive and comprehensive measures at all levels against Indian -backed and sponsored proxies.
In May, Pakistan saw a slight increase in militant attacks, even as military tensions with neighboring India failed to increase violence by extremist groups.
The data released by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICS), based in Islamabad, indicates a 5 % increase in attacks compared to April, though the overall image shows that the militant groups are widespread despite regional geographical political climate.
According to the PICS monthly security diagnosis, 85 militant attacks were recorded in May, which increased from 81 to 81 in April.
The incident resulted in 113 deaths, including 52 security forces personnel, 46 civilians, 11 militants, and four members of the peace committees. This month, 182 people were injured, including 130 civilians, 47 security personnel, four militants, and members of a peace committee.
Although the total number of attacks has only seen a slight increase, the deep sinking in the data shows some trends.
Balochistan and KP have been the most affected provinces, which are 82 out of 85 attacks across the country.
Balochistan faced high -level violence, with a 35 militant attack, including 30 civilians, 18 security personnel, and three militants and 100 injured (94 civilians, five security personnel, one militant).
