On Saturday, hundreds and thousands of magazines and processions were held in the ninth part of Muharram al -Haram, which honored Imam Hussein (RA) and his comrades in Karbala.
During these strong observations, processions were kept peacefully during strict security measures to maintain peace.
A total of 2,763 processions and 7,598 were held in different areas of Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and Gilgit -Baltistan.
In light of these scenes, law enforcement agencies increased the warning, and implemented comprehensive security arrangements to thwart any potential obstacles.
Punjab witnessed the highest participation in the processions with a total of 3,805 Multan and 1,677 processions, while 61 Mulla and 17 processions were witnessed in the federal capital.

Islamabad
In the federal capital, the central 9th Muharram procession began with Markzai Imam Bargah G -6/2. After passing its traditional route, the procession ended at the same point.
Karachi
Port City has witnessed its main procession from Nishtar Park, which ended on the traditional route of Ma Jinnah Road, Maharani Market, and Regal Chowk, at Imam Bargah Hussein Irani, Khardar.
More than 5,000 police personnel were deployed at these routes and places to maintain the order.
Peshawar
In Peshawar, the main procession was removed from Imam Bargah Hussainiya Hall, Sadar Road, which included several other processions, after emerging from different imams.
The procession, after passing through its traditional paths, ends at the beginning.
