ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif pursued the Pakistani nation and the Islamic world on the occasion of Eid -ul -Umaha and urged everyone to be oppressed in Palestine and Kashmir in their views.
In a message on the occasion of Eid -ul -Azha 1446 AH, he said, “I refrain from the heart of the whole Pakistani nation and the Islamic world on the blessed Islamic rituals of Eid -ul -Sada and the glorious Islamic ritual of Hajj.”
He added, “These blessed days are reminiscent of the ideal loyalty, sacrifice and selflessness of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Ishmael (AS).
He said that Allaah loves the devotion, sacrifice and selflessness of these two great personalities so much that they have given their deeds the status of worship.
The Prime Minister prayed to Allaah to accept the prayers and sacrifices of the entire Pakistani nation and the Muslim Ummah.
He remarked, “These blessed opportunities should come into our lives again and again. Amen.”
“The message of Eid -ul -Azha is not only limited to the sacrifice of the animal, but it has also taught its sacrifice, our desires and interests for the sake of high purposes,” he said.
He observed, “This spirit of sacrifice gives rise to the characteristics of patience, courage, sacrifice and fitness in human beings, which can be the basis for the development of a nation.”
He said, “Today our beloved country is on the path of development and at this time we have to adopt the spirit of solidarity and sacrifice.”
The Prime Minister said that the blessed occasion of Eid -ul -Azha reminded everyone that the path of sacrifice was a success.
He added, “As happened during the recent Indian invasion, when the entire nation is uniting and sending a clear message against the enemy, the Pakistani nation will not hesitate to offer any sacrifice for its defense and dignity,” he added, “Similarly, we have to make a permanent unity and resolve the internal problems.”
“We have to understand our economic and social responsibilities and prepare all our resources to make our country strong, prosperous and self -sufficient,” he said.
He added, “This Eid not only teaches us the importance of sacrificing our lives and property, but also teaches that when a nation works not only for individual development but also works for collective welfare and development.”
The Prime Minister said, “Today, we should also remember Palestinian brothers and sisters, who are suffering from cruelty and inhuman oppression. Similarly, we Indians continue to solidarity with the brave people of Jammu and Kashmir illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He stressed, “We will always be their voice and support their important struggle.”
Shahbaz Sharif said, “Today, we have to make a pledge of Pakistan to our future generations where there is an atmosphere of love, brotherhood and unity. We have to move forward with the commitment to present Pakistan as a strong and successful country globally.”
“When we prefer our national interest over our own interests, the dream of development and prosperity of Pakistan will become a reality,” he said.
He said, “The message of Eid al -Azha encourages us to go beyond our personal desires and interests and only to think about the welfare and fitness of our country and to work to achieve high goals.
He concluded, “I pray to Allaah to bless us with the true happiness of Eid al -Saha and to provide the power to act according to the true spirit of sacrifice and selflessness.”
