Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), has strongly said that Pakistan believes in its potential and commitment and the role of the international community in peace efforts depends on the country’s commitment and power.
Talking to China’s CGTN, Lieutenant General Chaudhry said: “The most important thing is the determination and strength of Pakistan. After Allah, we rely on ourselves and our power. So only when we are committed and a strong commitment – which we have already shown. [in the recent powerful response to Indian aggression] – The international community will also play its full role.
He added that today the world faces major problems, including climate change, misinformation and growing population. In this context, he questioned India’s actions that tried to dominate others on the basis of false claims.
“In such a situation, should a country try to impose control over other countries around them on the basis of a false statement without any reason and without any evidence?” He asked.
On the indiscriminate aggression of India, Pakistan’s Armed Forces launched a massive retaliation, called “Operation Bonyan Um-Marsus”, and on May 10 targeted several Indian military targets in several areas.
The strikes described by the personnel as “precise and proportional” were carried out in response to India’s continued aggression in the Line of Control (LoC) and Pakistan, which New Delhi claimed that “terror targets” were aimed at.
Pakistan dropped its six fighter jets, including three Rafael, and dozens of drones. At least 87 hours later, the war between the two nuclear armed countries ended May 10 with a ceasefire agreement by the United States.
According to the ISPR, during the recent military confrontation, Indian strikes, including 13 personnel and 40 civilians, were involved in a total of 53 people, including 13 people.
Last month’s attack in the IIOJK launched a military clash between the two countries in which 26 tourists were killed, in which India accused of attacking without any evidence.
Referring to Pakistan’s defense forces, Lieutenant General Chaudhry said: “The Pakistani nation, we have never bowed nor will it never happen.
“It’s a matter of honor and honor for each of us wearing this uniform, whether blue, white or khaki [Pakistan Air Force, navy and army]Die for our homeland. This is the greatest honor.
On regional cooperation and shared goals, they highlighted the similarities between Pakistan and China’s perspective for peace and development.
He said, “Pakistan and China, or any responsible country in this world, their first responsibility is for their people. The prosperity and welfare of the people comes from peace and stability.”
The two countries, which the top military spokesman, added, are working for peace, along with other responsible states, and they should continue to fight terrorism, which they said is an important obstacle to development.
“The same prosperity behind terrorism is to stop,” he said. We are trying against it with the help of ourselves and our friends. “
Talking about China’s progress, the head of the ISPR said: “China’s progress in modern history, in a very short period of time, China has given such a large population that has given development and prosperity, I think it is to see the world, and it is noteworthy.”
He said that Pakistan wants the same – moving towards development and stability. “We owe it to the people of Pakistan and the coming generations of Pakistan, and that’s why we always say that our priority is peace.”
Lieutenant General Chaudhry said that peace was celebrated by the people of Pakistan instead of defeating India.
“If you look in the streets of Pakistan, you will see people celebrating peace instead of victory. You will see humility in them. We are far below the earth. We are bowing down with humility rather than thumping our breasts because we prefer peace.”
On internal challenges, he said that Pakistan would now focus on terrorism.
“Now we have to change this iron wall [Bunyan-um-Marsoos] – This includes people, armed forces and all elements of national power – towards the threat of terrorism.
