Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Saturday that India’s superiority and arrogance fiction had ended in the thin wind as Pakistan’s powerful retaliation pushed New Delhi into an immediate withdrawal, which led to a US broker ceasefire.
The Defense Minister said that India expects a weak response, but Pakistan’s strategy has fallen before Pakistan’s calm and calculated book response.
Talking about the talks, he said that possible talks with New Delhi will discuss issues related to the Indus Wates Agreement (IWT), terrorism and Indian illegally occupying Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
His comments came when reports circulated on the media in the social and mainstream media that an important agreement to share in the water between India and Pakistan would remain suspended, yet the countries would remain suspended despite reaching the ceasefire agreement.
The IWT, which was medted by the World Bank in 1960, organizes the distribution of water from the Indus River and its assistants between South Asian countries. India had expelled it last month after a deadly attack that targeted tourists in Pahalgam, (iiojk). India has accused Pakistan of being involved in the attack, while Islamabad has denied its involvement in violence, saying it is preparing international legal proceedings on the suspension of the deal, which ensures water for 80 % of its farms.
Speaking on Geo News today, the Defense Minister said: “These are all major problems [IWT, terrorism and Kashmir] It can still be discussed.
He said, perhaps, India was not expecting such a response from Islamabad as Pakistan’s armed forces stunned Indian forces in a four -day clash.
The latest increase in the enmity of India decades -old Pakistan began on May 7 when at least 31 civilians, including children, were illegally attacked from across the border. In retaliation, Pakistan dropped five IAF fighter jets, including three Rafael, and dozens of drones.
During this increase, India sent drones to the Pakistani territory, in which the army fired close to 80, which included Israeli-made IAI Heron-Mermia, long-lasting, without tolerance-without pilot air vehicles (UAV).
According to security sources, the Pakistan Army launched a “Operation Bonian Um-Marsus” at the end of the week, targeting several Indian military installations.
Referring to the defeat of India during the recent clashes, the defense said that Pakistan has removed the misunderstandings of India about power.
The minister added, “India was captured by the power of power, but despite Pakistan’s composite and strategic reaction, its arrogance has collapsed.”
In response to a question, the minister said that Islamabad repeatedly asked New Delhi to provide evidence in support of his allegations against Pakistan in the backdrop of Pahalgam.
He said that instead of providing evidence, India attacked Pakistan, adding that New Delhi’s reputation has come to question because of its behavior. The minister said that the international community praised Pakistan’s position on the matter.
He emphasized that Pakistan maintained a ban in the whole incident, kept its doorstep low, and preferred peace without compromising on its presence or security.
“India’s military and diplomatic reviews have been proved wrong,” he said. There has been no global acceptance due to failure to provide evidence to his story or allow a neutral inquiry.
He added that India has failed to seek support from a single country.
He added, “We hope that India, and especially its leadership, will one day give priority to the future of the region over the interests of the party. The peaceful coexistence of equality is the key to the progress of South Asia.”
