Security officials said Wednesday that a young girl and two children, including a 7-year-old son of an army officer, were killed in separate Indian missile attacks on urban areas in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

In Muzaffarabad, prayers were prayed for 80 -year -old Mohammad Yaqub, who was martyred in the shelling. Ministers, legislators, and senior civil and military officials of the Azad Kashmir government attended the funerals.

After the prayers, the citizens staged a rally from the college ground to Padhawa Chowk, which condemned the aggression of India.

Security officials have termed the attacks deliberately and cowardly, saying that Indian forces targeted unarmed civilians without provocation, including women and children.

An official said, “These are cruel, inhuman activities that have shook the nation.”
