PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet on Wednesday paid tribute to the country’s security forces for their immediate and strong response to Indian aggression and expressed their solidarity with the people and the government of the province.
Regarding the information and public relations, the Chief Minister’s Advisor, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet’s emergency meeting was held in the backdrop of an unlawful aggression against Pakistan, in which Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan was present at the Gandapur chair.
KP Assembly Speaker and Leader of the Opposition attended a special invitation with cabinet members, chief secretary, inspector general police, additional chief secretaries, and administrative secretaries. Commissioners and deputy commissioners participated through video link.
Giving the media a briefing on the emergency meeting, the adviser said that the cabinet indiscriminately condemned Indian aggression and expressed serious concern over this clear act of enmity. He called on the international community to immediately take notice of India’s contempt of treatment, which he said was a threat to the security of the entire region.
