In the midst of a severe tension between New Delhi and Islamabad after the attack on tourists in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Defense Minister Khawaj Asif warned Monday that the India could launch a military strike anywhere with the Line of Control (LOC).
Speaking to reporters in Islamabad, the Defense Minister said, “There are reports that India can attack any opportunity with the Line of Control (LoC) … New Delhi will be given an appropriate response,” the Defense Minister said while talking to reporters in Islamabad.
The relationship between the two monuments has led to the death of a gunman on April 22 in Pahalgam on April 22.
New Delhi linked Islamabad to the attack without any proof and provoked a crackdown on the reducing relations, which included suspending the Indus Waters Agreement, canceling Pakistanis’ visas, and shutting down the Wagah-Atari Border Crossing.
In response to this, Islamabad ordered the deportation of Indian diplomats and military advisers, except the Sikh pilgrims, canceled visas for Indian nationals, and stopped crossing the main border.
Pakistan also denies involvement in the attack and offered to take part in a reliable and transparent investigation.
Talking to reporters today, Asif said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had already demanded the International Commission’s constitution to investigate the incident. He added, “Such an investigation will expose whether India itself or any internal group was involved, and clarifies the truth behind New Delhi’s baseless allegations against Pakistan.”
“An international investigation will reveal that it is [Indian Prime Minister] Narendra Modi is lying or speaking the truth, “he added,” Then we can tell Modi that he is a liar and is destroying world peace. “
The minister encouraged Modi to get votes through a political drama on charges of “pushing the region into the brink of nuclear war”.
He added that India is involved in the support of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. He noted, “We presented evidence of Indian terrorism in KP in front of the United Nations in 2016 and 2017,” he added: “The evidence contained videos that show how India finances and provokes terrorism.”
He regretted that Pakistan faces threats across the Afghan border, and claiming that the recent wave of terrorism in KP and Balochistan is being influenced by Afghanistan, in which India is being supported.
When asked why the Pakistan Tehreek -e -Insaf (PTI) left in last night’s security briefing, Asif said: “I do not know why the PTI chose not to take part in the camera session.”
He also noted that both the Senate and the National Assembly have now approved resolutions on the current situation. He added, “The position of the nation is clear. If anyone still wants to call the APC (all parties conference), they can move forward.”
NA resolution rejects India’s efforts to link Pakistan to the Pahalgam attack
In addition, the National Assembly passed a resolution warning India that any aggression, including water terrorism or military provocation, would be met by a “firm, sharp and decisive” response.
The resolution, presented by the PML -N (PML -N) legislator Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, has warned India that Pakistan is fully capable and is ready to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity because “its strong and unhealthy reaction in February 2019 has been clearly referred to.”
He also condemned terrorism in all his forms and explanations and emphasized that the killing of innocent civilians is a violation of the values maintained by Pakistan.
The resolution also rejected all “irrational and baseless efforts” to link Pakistan to the Pahalgam attack in occupied Kashmir.
It condemned the Indian government’s “archetype and the Malafid campaign” to discredit Pakistan, “which follows a familiar manner in exploiting the terrorist issue for a narrow political purpose.”
It has further condemned India’s “illegal and unilateral declaration” to declare Indus Waters’ agreement to be civilized for violating authenticity.
The resolution emphasizes that the people of Pakistan are committed to peace, but will never allow anyone to exceed the country’s sovereignty, security and interests.
It has also demanded that India be held accountable for various terrorist acts and the killing of other countries, including Pakistan, and the killing of other countries.
The resolution concluded that “Pakistan’s irreversible moral, political and diplomatic support for the struggle for the justice of the Kashmiri people to understand the inevitable right of self -determination of the Kashmiri people of Pakistan.”
