ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has described the move to block the X -account of Indian government party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as a retaliation for its unprecedented and courageous stance on the Pahalgam incident, which he was exposed to the international community.
Senator Sherry Rehman, Vice President and Parliamentary Leader of the PPP in the Senate, said that India’s action indicates extreme panic in New Delhi’s government circles as the gap in Pakistan’s story against them extends every day.
Senator Sherry Rehman said that the former Foreign Minister has always been a strong, credible and clear voice for a fair peace, especially for Kashmir, adding that “when Pakistan or its rivers are in danger, it becomes like the true voice of Pakistan’s people, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.”
He said that there are no powers to save the face, and there is no evidence of offering weapons water against Pakistan. India should focus on presenting evidence instead of resorting to censorship.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Central Spokesman, Shazia Mary said that PPP strongly condemns the Indian government’s decision to stop PPP chairman Balawal Bhutto Zardari’s account in India.
“This action reflects the frustration and fear of the Indian government,” he said. Shazia Mary said that Bilawal Bhutto has exposed Narendra Modi, the international media and the world before the world.
“It does not matter how much the Modi government tries to suppress the truth, it will find its own way, and the real face of the Indian government has become clear to the world,” he said.
He said that after the Pahalgam incident, instead of providing evidence, India has focused on silencing the strong voices that speak internationally.
Shazia Mary said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has permanently demanded that the Modi government either provide evidence related to the Pahalgam incident or support the international investigation.
“The Modi government is trying to hide the truth and divert the public’s attention from its failures,” he said. He said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also highlighted that the Modi government is covering its failures and is focusing on severe human rights abuses in Indian -occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
“We all know how human rights are being trapped in Indian -occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
He added that Modi himself is responsible for the killing of innocent people in Pahalgam, and his efforts to present himself as a victim will fail. “Even the people of India are raising questions about the government’s security failures,” he said.
Shazia Mary said that the international community should take notice of terrorism organized by the state of India and the persecution of Muslims, Christians and other minorities, and boycotted “Gujarat butcher” globally.
He said that the people of Pakistan and all national forces are united against the blasphemous designs of India.
Meanwhile, Bilawal House spokesman Surendra Walsai strongly condemned the move to stop PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s X (formerly Twitter) account and said that the Indian party chairman’s move to stop the X account was fearful.
“This also proves that India, in fact, a undemocratic country and its prime minister are a cowardly person,” he said.
A spokesman for Bilawal House said that Modi’s story of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari regarding the Phalgam incident was made anxious. He added that India’s suspension of the PPP chairman’s X account is equivalent to a Shotargar who burys his head in the sand.
Identifying past events, he said that it was Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who first exposed the “butcher of Gujarat” before the world, and he would hold a mirror for Modi’s enthusiastic mentality.
