Mississoga: Two days before US President Donald Trump’s threats, Canadian leaders campaigned in the battlefield districts on Saturday, with Prime Minister Mark Carney standing in Washington after assuring voters.
The victory for the Carney’s Liberal Party will mark one of the most dramatic way in Canada’s political history.
On January 6, the day the former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his plans to resign, his liberals left the conservatives back by more than 20 points in most elections, and Tory leader Perry Pulore certainly saw Canada’s next premiere.
But in the weeks, Trump started a barrage of harsh -raedy policies, while repeatedly talked about absorbing Canada into the United States.
Angry Canadians have since promoted the US anthem in sports events and canceled US travel plans.
When Carney replaced the unpopular Trudeau on March 14, he anchored his message on Trump’s threats.
The 60 -year -old, who has never been elected office, but guides the central banks in Canada and the UK, has argued that his global financial experience makes him the ideal candidate for defending Canada against Trump’s unstable trade policies.
The Prime Minister spent the second day of the campaign in an important province of Ontario, which stopped in communities near Toronto, who had previously switched between liberal and conservatives.
“President Trump’s trade war has literally exploded the global economy and has betrayed Canada,” Carney told a rally in Mississiga, a city west of Toronto.
“Canadians are suffering from this treachery, but we should never forget the lessons,” he said, before he directs his attacks on Polyur, which he says lacking his experience and economic capabilities during the trade war.
“We do not need chaos, we need to be calm,” said Carney. We do not need anger, we need an adult. “
He will close this day with a rally in Windsor – Canada’s auto industry center was severely affected by Trump’s prices.
Fanatic
The Trump Factor and the Trudeau for Carni exchange, a 45-year-old, has been in parliament for two decades.
But the conservative leader has tried to focus on issues that led to the liberals of Trudeau’s rule, especially the growing cost of life.
He was campaigning in British Columbia, the west coast on Saturday, ahead of the Syrian rally in Ontario.
“You can’t handle it for four more years,” he told supporters at the British Columbia delta, “he confirmed the message that Carney Trudeau would bring continuity.
“For a single mother whose fridge or, stomach and bank accounts are all empty and she does not know how she is feeding her children tomorrow, hopefully, hopefully, on the path to change.”
Polytor has also criticized Trump, but has accused Liberals of poor economic performance under the liberals of leaving Canada in US protection.
Hard race?
Pauls offer a liberal government, but the race has been tightened in the last days.
Public broadcaster CBC survey collector has given liberals a national lead of seven to eighteen points at various locations, but on Saturday, it launched a liberal support 42.5 %, with Touris at 38.7.
An important factor that can help liberals is the decorative number for new left -wing Democrats and separatist block cubicox.
In the last election, strong support for these parties has stopped liberal seats in the key provinces of British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec.
Of the 28.9 million eligible voters in Canada, 7.3 million in the Easter Week end in the opening belt, which is an increase of 25 % compared to 2021.
‘A weird campaign’
For McGill University’s political scientist Daniel Belland, the conservative efforts of “changing the subject of campaign” away from Trump failed to a great extent.
A political analyst, Tim Powers, agreed that a surprising “strange campaign” is not what the Touris desired.
He hoped that “there would be more discussion about cheapness and all the things he was scoring points,” he said, adding that “a campaign was considered where Justin Trudeau would oppose it. “
The winner should go for hours after the pool is closed on Monday.
