Seoul: Pakistan Chairman Senate officially signed the historic ‘Seoul Declaration: Joint Declaration of Peace and Lovers’ on Saturday.
The Senate Secretariat statement said that the Chairman of the Senate addressed the Ben -Parliamentary Speaker Conference (ISC 2025) in the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, where he formally announced and signed the declaration.
The declaration was also signed by the founder speakers and members of the forum, represented by 45 countries, including honorable and advanced parliamentary leaders.
The signatures included US President Donald Trump’s senior adviser, Ms. Pola White Cannas, who highlighted the widespread international support and bilateral appeal.
Gilani, who represents Pakistan on this prominent global platform, confirmed the country’s dedication to peace, multilateral cooperation and comprehensive development.
His address emphasizes the growing hurry of collective action against global challenges such as nuclear proliferation, poverty, climate change and regional conflicts.
The Seoul Declaration presents a shared global approach and determination outline:
1. Strengthen cooperation between parliamentary leaders and institutions.
2 Promote peace efforts around the world.
3. Respect for international discipline and human rights. 4. To realize the joint prosperity and advance the sustainable development
5. Tackling global challenges, including climate change, public health crises, and digital distribution.

The conference concluded with a confirmation to actively seek the principles of the declaration by participating in the conference and to strengthen the parliamentary dialogue to build a flexible and cooperative global future.
Meanwhile, he addressed the World Summit 2025 in Seoul in memory of the UN 80th anniversary. At the summit, which was attended by more than 500 delegates from 150 countries and 45 speakers of Parliament, focused on the subject: “Modern challenges of global discipline: Establishing a new era of peace and prosperity.”
In his remarks, Gilani emphasized the urgent need for global solidarity, comprehensive development, and moral multi -solidarity, calling for global leaders to re -imagine the rule as a tool for economic, environmental and social justice.
