Okalahoma: Neither is the thirst of fame nor the desire of the awards, only the love for humanity and the heartfelt relationship with its motherland. Dr. Naeem Tahir Khalili, a Pakistani -American cardiologist, stands in the extraordinary heroes who, while keeping from the light, are honored in Pakistan.
His calm but effective services are not only invaluable partnerships in the US healthcare system, but also a living statue of Pakistan-US friendship.
In the state of Oklahoma, the APPNA (Association of Physician of Physicians of Physician of Physicians of Physicians of North America), Governor Kevin Stat, awarded Dr. Kheli publicly when he remembered the moment to change his life.
The governor said that one day while playing golf, he suddenly felt ill. Fortunately, Dr. Tharkhali came close. Recognizing the severity of the situation, he immediately rushed the governor to the hospital.
Later, tests revealed that 90 % of the artery was blocked in his heart. Thanks to Dr. Tahirkili’s timely procedure, the governor’s life was saved.
Speaking emotionally, Governor Stat said: “If Dr. Tahir Kheli had not been in this important moment, I would probably not stand at this stage today. He is not just my physician. He is my friend, my benefit, and a true good.”
The governor added that he affectionately calls it “Dr. T” because his full name is a bit difficult to pronounce. He attended the APPNA Convention on both days, and on every occasion, he spoke with praise about Dr. Tahir Khalili.
Governor Stat also withdrew his meetings with Pakistani doctors and families in Oklahoma, emphasizing that Pakistanis beautifully resonates with strong family relations, morality and spirituality with their traditions of Oklahoma.
He also mentioned another close friend, Dr. Fazal Akbar Ali, and also told how much he enjoyed authentic Pakistani food during the convention.
He said that these deep relations encourage the APNA delegation to invite the APPNA delegation at a special meeting in the Oklahoma State Assembly. The delegation was headed by his doctor Hamira Qamar and included Dr. Hassan Karim, Dr. Sanaullah, Dr. Kaleem, Dr. Fazal Ali, Dr. Aaron Durrani, Dr. Hassan, and Chairman of the host Committee Dr. Mohammad Samullah. On this occasion, members of both the Assembly and the Senate paid a great tribute to the partnership of Pakistani American doctors.
In a special conversation with Geo News, Dr Tahir Khalili’s life and mission were revealed. Trained at the world -renowned Mayo Clinic, Dr. Tharkhali is an internationally appreciated personality in the field of cardiology.
Its organization is currently second in the United States to perform an advanced heart procedure.
His love for Pakistan takes a unique form. Every year, at his personal expenses, Dr. Tahir Kheli invited 45 young doctors from Pakistan to the United States, where he undergos six weeks of clinical circulation.
During this time, they are provided access to free training, housing, food, and the latest cardiology methods. Under the direct supervision of Dr. Tahirkili, he complements his training at a leading cardiology hospital in Dr. Oklahoma.
Dr. Tahir Kheli explained: “This is my duty, not a favor. Since I had never had the opportunity to return to Pakistan after going to the United States, I decided that I could pay my young doctors with modern medical skills and pay my homeland loans.”
He also talked about the Rukhsana Foundation, which he established to carry out global health and humanitarian works. His dream is that young Pakistani doctors receive world -class training and then revolutionize Pakistan’s health care system.
On this occasion, Squadron leader Dr. Mazhabara shared his experience at a Pakistan Air Force Hospital in Islamabad and one of the current trains of Dr. Tahirkali, “This is not just training. This is a dream that we are learning here and better.”
He termed the experience as invaluable and said that Dr Tahirkili’s move would prove to be an important and sustainable partnership in the future of health care in Pakistan.
In fact, Dr. Tahir Kheli is a bright lamp in the foreign soil that quietly fulfills its relationship with the land of his homeland, without any reward or identity.
