Jeddah: Ukraine said talks with the United States in Saudi Arabia are developing “constructively” on Tuesday, with a partial ceasefire on the table with Russia, Kiev launched its largest drone attack on Moscow in three years of war in three years.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Ukraine Foreign Minister Andri Sibiga attended a meeting in Jeddah – in which Russia was not participating.
The talks are after the White House’s public dressing down President Wolodimier Zilnsky, after which the United States eliminated access to military aid, intelligence sharing and satellite imagery.
Ukraine is hoping that a partial ceasefire offer in the sky and the sea will be pleased with Washington to restore the aid.
“We’re ready to do everything to seek peace,” Andre Yarmak, the Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Presidency, told reporters when he entered a meeting on Tuesday at a luxurious hotel.
A Ukrainian official, who requested not to disclose his name, later told AFP that the talks were “recovering, many questions have been discussed”.
“The biggest drone strike in history,” Kiev said, in which hundreds of drones were in Moscow and other areas overnight. Russian President Vladimir Putin had to pressurize Putin to agree with aerial and naval ceasefire.
“This is an additional indication for Putin that he should also be interested in ceasefire in the air,” said Andrey Kolinco, a National Security Council official, who is a National Security Council official responsible for countering unknown information.
The attack killed three people, which both sides said was the largest part in Moscow. The Russian military said it stopped 337 drones across the country.
The bargain of minerals
Zelannsky, who met Saudi Arabia’s De -Facto ruler in Jeddah on Monday, left the White House later last month without signing an agreement with Trump, which would provide US control over Ukraine mineral resources.
Zelannski has said he is still ready to sign, though Rubio said it would not be a Tuesday meeting.
Rubio, who is accompanied by National Security Advisor Mike Walts, said “I hope we can solve” in aid suspension talks.
Rubio said, “Hopefully, we will have a good meeting and good news.
Rubio said the United States has not eliminated intelligence for defense operations.
“The meeting with the US team began in a very constructive manner, we continue our work,” Yarmak said on social media on Tuesday.
Asked if the drone strike could remove the peace talks overnight, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “There are no (peace) talks yet, so there is nothing to interfere.”
He had previously refused to comment on Russia’s stance on the proposed partial ceasefire.
“It is still impossible to talk about positions so far,” he said.
“Americans will only know today today, as they say themselves, how far Ukraine from Ukraine is ready for peace.”
On behalf of this, Russia has increased attacks on the Ukrainian infrastructure, saying it has regained 12 settlements in the region, which Ukraine was caught in a bid for bargaining.
Robio finds ‘Media’
At the notorious White House’s notorious meeting last month, Zilnski refused to cut his tongue, facing criticism of Vice President JD Venus, the Ukrainian leader asked why his country should trust Russia’s promises.
He then wrote a repentance letter to Trump.
A Ukrainian official told AFP on Monday that Washington’s pressure faces, Ukraine will provide its support for a limited ceasefire in the sky and the sea.
Rubio indicated that the Trump administration would be happy with such a proposal.
He told reporters, “I am not saying that alone is enough, but to end the dispute this will need you such a discount.”
“You will not end the ceasefire and this war unless the two sides do privileges.”
Rubio said he did not expect to “draw” lines on the map “at a final agreement in the Jeddah meeting, but said he would bring back views in Russia.
Rubio and Walts also met with Russian counterparts last month, in Saudi Arabia, even after violating Russia’s Western warning and launching its invasion, ended freezing in high -level contacts imposed by Biden.
Trump last week threatened to go to the table further against Russia as he invaded Ukraine.
But the sudden change of Trump in US policy – including suggesting that Ukraine be held responsible for the war, and recently, along with Russia in the United Nations, stunned many allies.
Rubio said Monday that the next gathering of the seven foreign ministers of the United States will also object to Russia at the “anti -” language. “
