Noshera: Noor Khatak, exploded in a suicide bombing by Darul alum Haqqaniya mosque in Noshra, killing a top madrassa official and injuring at least 18 others, officials confirmed on Friday.
Immediately the Friday prayer. Later, the bomb exploded in the front row when about 60 60 km (35 miles) east of Peshawar were leaving the worshipers at the Darul alum Haqqaniya mosque in Akora Khatak, east of Peshawar.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed told Geo News that Maulana Samiul Haq Haqqani’s son, Maulana Hameed -ul -Haq Haqqani, was the victim of the attack.
The senior police official said that Darul al -Haqqaniya’s deputy administrator and Jamiat Ulema -e -Sami (JoyS), Amir, Maulana Hameed, were injured when they were receiving emergency medical treatment.
Hameed added that police teams were present at the blast site, and a search operation was underway in the surrounding environment. The IGP said that the forensics and investigative teams were dispatched to the scene, and the district police officer was also there.
It was the last Friday party before Ramadan, which pulled a large crowd of worshipers. The mosque is located inside the madrassa compound, whose students were ready to leave, as it marked the last day of their academic year.
The wide campus has about 4,000 students who are fed, dressed and educated for free.
The security arrangements in the mosque include the presence of several policemen and police mobile vans, while madrassas monitor the visitors.
The mosque is located in the center of Darul al -Haqqaniya, in which Dar al -Hadis is adjacent to. It is a large building where senior students study their education. Nearly, there are hostels and residential quarters.
The administration and medical staff of Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) – which is 45 minutes away from the blast site – were instructed to be prepared to achieve the casualties.
A high alert and emergency have been announced on medical care to deal with any situation, a hospital spokesman said.
The latest reports showed that the blast took place near the gate of the mosque from where Maulana Hamid was returning to his residence, which is a stone away from the mosque.
The bodies of the four dead have been kept in the Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex, while others are treating the injured. Meanwhile, Hamid’s body is in the CMH.
In addition, a powerful explosion in the Mamozai area of Upper Orakzai on Friday killed Sama Bazaar, killing one person and injuring several others.
In a statement, the deputy commissioner of Kohit said that the police and rescue teams arrived at the scene quickly, starting relief work and securing the area. The injured were immediately shifted to THQ Hospital for medical treatment.
Put condemnation
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in the Noshera blast. He also expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of Maulana Hameed in the attack.
The Prime Minister condoled the families of the victims.
President Asif Zardari strongly condemned the suicide blast, saying that targeting innocent worshipers was an unpleasant and regrettable.
He added that terrorists are enemies of nation, country and humanity. The President also prayed for the lives of those who lost their lives in the attack.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the blast and expressed his heartfelt condolences and condolences to the martyrs’ family.
Naqvi said that no words were enough to condemn such a tragic event in the mosque. He confirmed that with the support of the nation, every enemy’s conspiracy would be thwarted.
The interior minister added, “We stand with the families of the martyrs and the wounded.”
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandpur strongly condemned the blast, calling it a tragic and panic act.
He directed the authorities to thoroughly investigate all aspects of the incident and submit a comprehensive report.
The Chief Minister also directed the officials to ensure the best medical care of the injured.
“It is an inhuman act to target innocent people in the synagogue,” Gandpur said. He added that no words were enough to condemn such an attack.
He emphasized that all available resources should be used to bring the criminals to justice.
In a statement, Aslam Ghauri, a spokesman for the Jamiat Ulema-e-Fazal (Joy-F), condemned the suicide bombing, saying that the incident in Akora Khatak was deeply tragic.
He urged party workers and volunteers to extend their full cooperation in relief efforts. Ghauri also appealed to JUIF members to donate more blood to the injured.
Ghauri added, “We pray that the martyrs be given the highest levels after that.”
Similarly, National Assembly opposition leader Omar Ayub Khan also condemned the suicide attack, saying that he was saddened by the testimony of Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani and others in the attack.
