ISLAMABAD: Quetta Gladiators will play all their domestic matches at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and will continue to become the home ground of Pandi Stadium Peshawar Zalmi as the Pakistan Super League (PSL) X will start in Rawalpindi on April 11.
In the opening match, defending champions Islamabad United will take two -time champions Lahore Qalandars at Pindi Stadium. PSL 2017 champion Peshawar Zalmi Pindi will play five matches at the Pindi Stadium, while the fourth edition winner, Quetta Gladiators will play five matches at Gaddafi Stadium.
Six teams will watch 34 matches from April 11 to May 18, hosted 13 matches at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, including two Eliminators and the final. For PSLX, Pindi Stadium will host 11 matches, including Qualifier 1, on May 13.
Karachi National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will host five matches in each. Three double headers will also be presented in the Marki event, two matches on Saturday (Saturday) and one on a national holiday (Labor Day).
Also, an exhibition match will be presented in the next edition, which will be played in Peshawar on April 8. The match teams will be verified later. The winner of the fifth edition of the league will start his campaign on April 12 in his backyard against the last edition of Multan Sultan, Multan Sultan’s runner -up.
The winner of the sixth edition will face Qalandars on April 22 – the first PSLX match organized by Multan Cricket Stadium. The newly constructed Lahore Gaddafi Stadium will welcome the tenth edition of the PSL on April 24, with the winner of the seventh and eighth edition of Peshawar Zalmai, Home Side Qalandars, the winner.
PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer said: “We are happy to formally announce the schedule of the historic 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League. During the last decade, HBLPSL has increased the global recognized tournament, which has the best of Pakistan’s cricketing capacity.
“This year’s tournament fans will not only see high-level international cricketers, but will also observe 34 top octane matches in four major cities-Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi.
“As part of a commitment to enhance PSL access, we feel happy to host an exhibition match in Peshawar before the start of the tournament, which is an important step in bringing top -tear cricket to Peshawar, a deep route to the game.
