The 10th Edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is scheduled to begin on April 11 (Friday).
In the inaugural match, defending champion Islamabad United will be presented with two -time winner Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
A total of 34 matches will be presented from April 11 to May 18 in the six teams tournament. The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be hosted by 13 matches, including two Eliminators and the Grand Finals.
In addition to the central tournament, an exhibition match is scheduled for April 8 in Peshawar. For this special fact, the participating teams will be announced in the stipulated course.
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the first qualifier on May 13. Karachi National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will host five matches.
Three double headers will also be presented in the program, two weeks and one with a labor day (May 1st).
The fifth edition of the league will launch his campaign against Karachi Kings, Karachi Kings, last season last season in his home field against Multan Sultan.
The sixth edition winner Multan Sultan will face Lahore Qalandars in the first HBLPSL X match hosted at Multan Cricket Stadium on April 22.
Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will welcome its first match of the tournament on April 24, in which the seventh and eighth edition winner against Peshawar Zalmi will be exhibited by the home team Lahore Qalandars.
Champions of the 2017 edition will play five matches at Peshawar Zalmi Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, while the fourth edition winner will play five matches at Quetta Gladiators, Gaddafi Stadium.
HBLPSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer expressed enthusiasm for the league’s milestone edition:
“We are happy to formally announce the schedule of the Hcid -Pakistan Super League’s historic 10th edition. During the last decade, HBLPSL has increased the global recognized tournament, showing the best of Pakistan’s cricketing capabilities.
“This year’s tournament fans will not only see high profile international cricketers, but will also observe 34 top octane matches in four major cities-Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi.
“As part of HBLPSL’s commitment to enhance access to access, we are happy to host an exhibition match in Peshawar before the start of the tournament, which is an important step in bringing top -tear cricket to Peshawar, a deep root -loving city for the game.
“We are dedicated to enhancing the experience of players, fans and stakeholders, who have witnessed some of the league competitions in the past years.”
