LAHORE: Director of Agro and Food at the Ministry of Investment, Saudi Arabia, Dafaullah Al -Fawaz, led high -level meetings with key stakeholders to invest in Pakistan’s agricultural food sector and find trade opportunities.
During the second day of the exhibition of Fooding Manufacturing 2025 at the Lahore Expo Center here on Thursday, Alfawaz met Agriculture Minister Agriculture Minister, Special Investment Facility Council (SIFC), and Pakistan Halal Authority (PHA) to discuss Egigatic, Halal Certification, and Food Exports. He also discussed with leading companies focusing on expanding exports of Pakistani rice, meat, fruits, and sustainable packaging solutions in Saudi Arabia.
He visited the exhibition halls, which sought diverse offerings of provincial stalls representing Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Sindh. He also visited the major processing facilities. The visit clarified the growing economic relations between the two countries and laid the foundation for future investment and trade expansion in the agricultural food sector.
In collaboration with representatives of Punjab, KP, and Balochistan governments, high -profile meetings were also organized with Chief Executive Trade Development Development Development of Pakistan (TDAP) Faiz Ahmed and Secretary TDAP Sheriar Taj, which is investing in important agricultural and nutritional sectors. These debates highlight commercial opportunities in agriculture, fishing, seeds, meat, fruits, value -added fruits, and vegetables such as China, Japan, Korea, Italy, Turkey and the United States. With the project of following -up meetings through Pakistan’s trade missions and other strategic markets in China, there was a major focus on transferring industries from China to China under the CPEC framework. The possibility of cooperation of agro processing machinery with South Korea, Japan and Italy was also deepened, emphasizing technical partnerships and investment opportunities to enhance the growth of the sector.
The second day was marked by dynamic Business to Business (B2B) networking sessions, high -profile meetings and advanced technologies and exhibitions. International and national exhibitors are engaged in meaningful cooperation, while the PhDEC Pavilion highlighted Pakistan’s agricultural capabilities.
The exhibition gathered more than 152 exhibitors, including 37 international participants from China, Japan, Italy, Turkey, South Korea, and other countries, as well as 44 national exhibitors and 24 packaging companies. The exhibition was divided into six major fields: ‘Egro Liu Stock Processing Machinery’, ‘Packaging Machinery’, ‘Food Storage’, ‘Supply China’, and ‘Ingredients’.
During the event, TDAP played a vital role in facilitating more than 347 B2B meetings between buyers and exhibitors, which resulted in numerous business deals and partnerships, while 4 MOS were signed, which identified significant cooperation in diverse sectors.
These include bedtot (mastering potato -based cosmetics), bio -mark pharmaceuticals, world trading (focused on R&D for amino acid fertilizers and high quality potatoes and garlic seeds), wireless seeds, STS robotics and scorching. These agreements identified the success of innovation, cross -border partnerships, and the exhibition in promoting sustainable growth in the food and agriculture industries.
In addition, factory tours were arranged for international delegations, including a Chinese company and a Korean company, which has reinforced cross -border cooperation. This incident proved to be a change event, driving innovation, cooperation and growth in the food and agriculture industry. The exhibition established a new standard for future events, which has a different range of successful exhibitors, modern technologies, and successful B2B engagements.
