WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump on Monday published a 20 -point peace proposal for Gaza, which would end the war between Israel and Hamas and need to stay within 72 hours of ceasefire and need to return to all the dead.
There are a lot of details for negotiators in the project, and to seize acceptance by Hamas, who launched a war against Israel on October 7, 2023. This re -developed Gaza is called “New Gaza”.
The key elements of the project are the results of intense talks between Trump and his team, and Israeli and Arab leaders in recent weeks.
- If the two sides are willing to the proposal, the war will end immediately. Israeli forces will partially withdraw to prepare for the release of the hostage. All military operations will be suspended and the war lines will be frozen until the “complete stage withdrawal” of Israeli forces is met.
- Within 72 hours of Israel, all hostages, alive and dead will be returned, accepting the proposal publicly. Once all the hostages will be released, Israel will release 250 Palestinian prisoners who have been sentenced to life imprisonment on October 7, 2023 after the start of the conflict. For every Israeli hostage whose remains have been issued, Israel will release 15 dead Ghazan remains.
- Once all the hostages are released, members of Hamas will be forgiven “peaceful coexistence” and weapons, they will be forgiven. Hamas members who want to leave Gaza will be given safe passage to the receiving countries.
- Upon accepting the deal, full assistance will be sent immediately to the Gaza Strip, of which the quantity is in line with the mandatory level under January 19, 2025. The relief supply will move forward without the intervention of Israel or Hamas by the UN and the relevant agencies.
- An “unconstitutional” Gaza will not pose a threat to its neighbors and will be “re -developed” for the benefit of Gazan.
- In the Trump plan, Trump is led by Trump’s “Board of Peace” of international supervisors, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has been included in an unconstitutional role. Gaza will be ruled under the temporary interim rule of the “Technocratic, Appellate” Committee, comprising Palestinians and international experts, which will be overseen by the Board of Peace. The group will set up this framework and take over funds for the restoration of Gaza until the Palestinian Authority has made major reforms.
- Trump’s economic development plan for reconstruction of Gaza will be called for a panel of experts, “which has helped give birth to some of some of the most prominent Middle East miraculous cities.” A special economic zone will be set up with preferential tariffs and access rates for dialogue with the partners.
- Under the plan, no one will be forced to leave Gaza, who has suffered heavy losses during the war, and those who want to leave will be free to do so and will be free to return. The plan states that “we will encourage people to stay and give them the opportunity to make Gaza a better.”
- Hamas and other factions will have no role in governance directly or indirectly in Gaza. All military infrastructure, including tunnels and weapons production facilities, will be destroyed. Independent Monitor will oversee the end of Gaza.
- According to the plan, “the new Gaza will be fully committed to the construction of a prosperous economy and peaceful coexistence with its neighbors.”
- Regional partners will work to ensure that Hamas and its factions comply with their responsibilities and that there is no threat to the new Gaza.
- The United States, along with Arab and international partners, will develop a temporary international stability force to immediately deploy to Gaza.
- Israel will not be occupied by Gaza or inks. Israeli defense forces will gradually hand over the Gaza territory to which it is with the International Stability Force.
- The project is vague on the way to the Palestinian state. It states that when the rehabilitation of Gaza develops and when the Palestinian Authority is reformed, “the situation can eventually be for the Palestinian self -determination and a reliable path to the state, which we recognize as the desire of the Palestinian people.”
- The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on the “political horizon for peaceful and prosperous coexistence.”
