Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has warned that the simple condemnation of Israeli aggression is no longer so much that the world has been emphasized to adopt a clear, united strategy to prevent Tel Aviv’s growing things in the Middle East.
In an interview to Arab media, Dar said that the world was “stopped in its tracks” and warned that its attacks on Lebanon, Syria, and now Qatar were unacceptable and violating international law. “Pakistan strongly condemns the strike on Qatar … this is an attack on brotherhood’s sovereignty,” he said.
Israel tried to kill Hamas political leaders last week by an airstrike in Qatar, which increased its military operations in the Middle East. The strike was widely condemned in and beyond the Middle East, which could further increase tensions in the already existing region.
Dar said Pakistan had actively supported Qatar after the strike and called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, along with Somalia. He welcomed Qatar’s decision to convene the Arab Islamic Emergency Summit in Doha, calling it an important and timely step.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the people of Gaza are in great distress and it is time to ensure unconditional ceasefire. He said that Israel’s provocation made it clear that it did not want peace in the region, adding that there was more Muslim unity more than ever before.
He called on the United Nations to introduce long -term reforms to the Security Council so that they could fulfill their responsibility to resolve conflicts like Palestine and Kashmir. “The Security Council should take meaningful action and not be a silent spectacle,” he said.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemned the Israeli invasion of Doha, calling it a careless and provocative act aimed at sabotaging peace efforts in the Middle East, and demanding an Arab Islamic task force to counter Israel’s expansionist ambitions.
The Prime Minister said that the Israeli attack on Qatar is a clear violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, which emphasized that Pakistan stands in solidarity with its Qatari brothers and sisters.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Shahbaz and DPM Dar, along with members of the other delegation, visited Doha to attend the Arab Islamic Summit on Monday.
Pakistan pledged to ensure peace
Dar reiterated that Pakistan has always supported a peaceful resolution of the conflict through dialogue and believes that negotiations are the best way to move forward – provided that sincerity and seriousness are present from all sides.
He emphasized that Pakistan is committed to eliminating terrorism from its territory and has made the most sacrifices in this fight. “It is surprising that the country most affected by terrorism has still blamed India,” he said.
Dar confirmed that Pakistan was looking for friendly relations with all its neighboring countries, including India, but it was warned that sovereignty would never be compromised. “No one will be allowed to violate Pakistan’s independence or integrity,” he said.
On water issues, Dar warned that future wars would be fought on water and they would be reminded that under the Indus Waters Treaty, India could not unilaterally suspend or cancel the distribution of water. He warned that “Pakistan has made it clear that any attempt to stop the water will be considered a declaration of war.”
Dar also made it clear that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear power, equipped with a strong military and modern weapons, and will stand firmly with the Muslim Ummah despite any threat.
A neighbor with two nuclear weapons, was engaged in a four -day military conflict earlier this year, which almost increased into a full war.
In April, a terrorist occupying the Pahlagam of Jammu and Kashmir illegally was attacked by Indians, and India blamed Pakistan for the attack. Subsequently, India invaded Pakistan, which was branded under the name “Operation Sundor”, but it responded appropriately.
Pakistani Armed Forces not only shot the Indian drone that came to the Pakistani territory, destroyed their check posts on the border, but also shot their fighter jets, including French -made Rafael.
The conflict was resolved by the United States President Donald Trump after the ceasefire broke out between the Arc Real Countries.
