Governor Spencer’s Cox confirmed that a young man from Utah, who was accused of shooting a conservative activist Charlie Kirk during a university forum, was arrested on Friday, with Governor Spencer Cox confirmed, which confirmed the two -day violence.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump had revealed that a suspect in the deadly shooting of conservative activist Kirk was taken into custody by law enforcement agencies.
“I think we have it,” Trump told Fox News in an interview.
The suspect, identified as Tyler Robinson, confessed to a family friend – or “he committed killing with this friend – and the man contacted the Washington County Sheriff’s office on Thursday.
Cox said a member of the family interviewed by investigators said that Robinson has recently become more political and talks about Kirk in a controversial manner. FBI director Kashi Patel said at a press conference that about 333 hours after Kirk’s assassination, Robinson was taken into custody on Thursday night.
A close ally of US President Donald Trump, Kirk, was killed by a bullet when he spoke on the stage at the Outdoor Amphatter at Utah Valley on Wednesday. Trump describes the shooting as “abusive murder”.
Kirk’s murder has given rise to anger among Kirk supporters and condemned political violence against Democrats, Republicans and foreign governments.
“This is an attack on all of us,” the governor of Utah said at a press conference.
“This is an attack on American experience,” the governor said. “This is an attack on our ideas.”
The firing has imposed the most permanent period of US political violence since the 1970s. Reuters documents document more than 300 cases of politically motivated acts across the ideological spectrum, as Trump supporters attacked the US capital on January 6, 2021.
Trace the suspect
Earlier, US investigators said they were believed to be used to kill Kirk. He released a series of security camera images of an interested man and asked the public to help identify him.
Investigators talked to Robinson’s room, who showed him comments in which Robinson did about the discard, which was a popular chat and streaming platform with the gamers, which was discussed to recover a rifle from a drop point and then wrapped it in a towel. He found a gun after firing in the forest area near the campus.
