Security sources said Tuesday that Afghan forces once again resorted to indiscriminate firing on Pakistan’s border, targeting several areas, which would lead to a harsh and immediate response to the Pakistan Army.
According to sources, Pakistani troops gave a strong and quick response, in which the Afghan Taliban and the Fita’s firing positions were subjected to severe retaliation.
Sources added that the exchange caused severe damage to several Taliban posts, while flames were seen rising from their positions.
Sources further confirmed that a Taliban tank was destroyed in the counter fire, forcing the attackers to abandon their posts and flee the area.
Security sources confirmed that Pakistan’s forces are on high alert and they are fully capable of defending every borders of the country against any aggression.
This is the second incident in recent times, which includes cross -border attacks on the Afghan Taliban and the footnotes. On the night of October 11, Afghan forces opened indiscriminate fire at several border points, including Angore Ada, Bajur and Karam, similar attacks were also reported in DR, Chitral, Baramcha, and Durand Line as well as other areas.
