Pakistan strongly denied India in the United Nations, condemning it that it relates to New Delhi’s “deterioration script” Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
During the fourth committee meeting on decisive commodities, Asif Khan, a diplomat representing Pakistan’s permanent mission in the United Nations, said that India’s efforts to misrepresent the situation in the contested region were not successful in hiding the truth of its occupation and human rights violations.
Khan, opening his statement, said, “I am forced to take the floor to respond to the unknown remarks of an Indian representative. Every year, India comes with a recycling script in the August Forum. Today is not different,” Khan said.
He emphasized that “the UN has not only the right, but also the responsibility of discussing the IIOJK dispute,” he said, adding that this area has never been an integral part of India “and” is an internationally recognized disputed territory whose final status is a free and neutral conflict. “
Khan reminded the forum that “India itself has brought the matter to the Council, yet he has now refused to respect his promises under the International Law and the UN Charter.”
Referring to the 1960 declaration, he said, “It orders that” under the alien submission, ‘all the people’ have the right to self-determination “-this right is included in the UN Charter and the main international covenant.
Highlighting the scale of Indian militancy in the region, he said, “In the occupied IIOJK, India maintains one of the world’s dense military occupations, and deploying nearly 900,000 troops against the unarmed civilian population.”
He accused India of branding the “justice struggle of the IIOJ’s people as a terrorist” while refusing to self -identifying to find the real causes behind widespread resistance in the occupied territory.
He said, “Under UNSC resolutions, India’s withdrawal from its own responsibilities, the people of IOJ in their basic rights, illegal casualties, disappearances, widespread imprisonment, sexual violence, and denial of settlement engineering are the real cause of indigenous freedom movement.
“Since August 2019, India has intensified its settlement colonial plan in a clear violation of the fourth Geneva Convention.”
Khan also alleged that India “tries to focus on its notorious behavior, bullying and terrorism,” “calls it” state terrorist sponsor in the region, with a dubious discrimination of an extra -murder. ”
He accused India of “financing and directing and directing terrorists like TTP, BLA, and Majid Brigade, whose attacks have killed thousands of innocent civilians in Pakistan.”
He described India’s claim as the world’s largest democracy, “hollow”, saying that it had become the world’s largest producer of unknown information and intolerance.
They said.
Warning about the dangers of peace, Khan said that India’s “negligence behavior has jeopardized regional security,” said Khan earlier this year, citing indiscriminate aggression against Pakistan, targeting civilians, including women and children. “
He noted, “Pakistan exercised its hereditary right to defend its defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, which aims only for military targets aimed at military targets.”
He concluded that “the denial and deterioration of India cannot eliminate the simple truth: Iiojk is a controversial area.”
Khan said, “The people of the IIOJ have waited for more than seven decades to exercise their right to self -determination.” “Pakistan will continue to expose India’s hypocrisy, oppose its state terrorism, and support the fair and legitimate struggle of the people for justice, dignity, and freedom.”
