ISLAMABAD: Senior PTI leader Asad Qaiser on Monday urged the PPP to submit a movement against the PML-N-led government at the center, demanding the party led by Bilawal Bhutto-Standardi to stop its “friendly fire”.
The PPP walked out of the NA on Monday as the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is increasing tensions.
Talking on the NA floor, after leaving the PPP session, Caesar assured his party’s support for a movement without trust.
The PML -N and the PPP are engaged in a fierce battle of words about the floods, water resources and their respective provincial governments in Sindh and Punjab.
“If they [PPP’s leadership] Are serious, they should bring any confidence [motion]And we will support it, “says Caesar.
He added: “We will help them [PML-N-led] Government [in Centre]. I am offering-now bring any confidence and you will have full support.
Earlier, PPP leader Raja Pervez Ashraf had expressed concern over the remarks of a Punjab minister’s minister about Sindh and his party.
Talking on the floor of the house, PPP’s Ashraf expressed regret over the ongoing dispute between the two allies.
He added, “I will not name anyone nor increase this conflict, but it has hurt me.”
“Irresponsible statements [made by the PML-N leaders] He added that not only did I hurt me, but also every PPP worker and ordinary Pakistani.
The PPP leader believed that such rifts would damage the national unity and weaken the federation.
The PPP leader concluded that his party would not participate in the NA’s proceedings unless he would explain the statements issued against Sindh and PPP.
Zardari called Naqvi to Karachi
As the explosion exchanges intensified, President Asif Ali Zardari took steps to calm the tensions between the PPP and the PPP and the PML -N.
According to a post by the President of Pakistan’s Official X Account, President Zardari spoke on the phone with Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
He added, “The President has called the Home Minister for an immediate meeting for Karachi in this regard.”
The PPP, earlier this month, has walked out of the National Assembly and Senate sessions about the criticism of the Sindh government of Chief Minister Maryam Naez.
The party had demanded that the CM of Punjab should apologize for its cutting statements, the demand was quickly rejected by him and the Punjab government ministers.
Reacting to his party’s stance on the rehabilitation of the flood victims, PPP Vice Chairman Senator Sherry Rehman expressed regret that the word war was going on at a time when people were waiting for help in the flood -hit areas.
“We are asking for help for the flood victims in Punjab,” he said. It is strange that someone has been attracted to it. “
In a clear reference to the CM’s remarks in Punjab, “When we can spend on our people, there is no need to beg for money”, the PPP leader said, “You are still asking the IMF. [International Monetary Fund] For climate fund “.
Senator Rehman criticized the Punjab government for allegedly canceling the details of PPP leader Ali Haider Gilani’s security.
“Everyone knows that Ali Haider Gilani has been abducted before,” he said. The Punjab government has still canceled his security details. “
Earlier, Prime Minister of Punjab, Ozima Bukhari, doubled his criticism of PPP, saying that the Punjab government would “continue to fight” for the province.
Excavating the PPP -led Sindh government, Bukhari said: “He [PPP] We are allies and we respect them. But you [PPP] There is nothing to talk about in Sindh. “
While firing a fresh slogan on the PPP -led provincial government, he asked the Bhutto -led party to “name 17 projects in his 17 -year tenure” in Sindh.
