Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has made it clear that the 20 -point Gaza Peace Plan announced by US President Donald Trump was different from the draft proposed by Muslim countries, including Pakistan.
“20 -point [Gaza peace plan] Addressing the National Assembly meeting on Friday, DPM Dar said that President Trump made changes to our draft publicly and changed our draft.
These remarks came against the backdrop of the 20 -point Gaza Pace Plan announced by US President Donald Trump, which includes a ceasefire, which includes Hamas under Hamas for Palestinian prisoners under Hamas, Gaza, an international body under an international body under an international body.
The US president unveiled the proposal after meeting with leaders of eight Muslim countries, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey and Indonesia.
Just a few hours before the announcement of the US president, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif welcomed Trump’s plan, saying that a lasting peace between the Palestinian people and Israel was essential for regional stability and economic growth.
However, since then, Pakistan has removed itself from President Trump’s plan to some extent, DPM Dar had earlier made it clear that the proposal was not the same in which all Pakistan’s suggestions were available.
Recalling the intention of joining Muslim countries with the United States on the issue, DPM Dar noted that it was an attempt to engage the United States, which he said was the last hope, and that the Gaza war was unable to stop the United Nations, the UN Security Council and the Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
DPM Dar added, “The plan was to link President Trump together,” he added: “Gaza is a graveyard of global consciousness”.
Considering President Trump’s meeting with Muslim leaders on the occasion of the 80th UNGA session, the politician said that the former was told that what was happening in Gaza was shameful, and if it could not be stopped, the Onga and the UNC had spoken.
He noted, President Trump took it positively and said his team would sit with Muslim countries and try to offer a viable solution within 48 to 72 hours.
Subsequently, the DPM said that a meeting was held at the Qatar Embassy, which was not made public, and which was also attended by President Trump’s team, which proposed Washington’s 20 -point proposal, which was later discussed separately in Muslim countries.
“We decided to stay inside the framework and amend the current proposal and include our wishes, Dar said, adding that three meetings have been held to discuss and exchange inputs and suggestions,” Dar said.
“The final draft, which was developed by all eight countries, was presented to the United States.”

However, the DPM reminded that after the announcement of Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan, the Saudi FM reached again and informed him that the United States had accepted most of his immediate suggestions, but he needed to engage on other issues.
He added that the Saudi FM highlighted that there are two powers, namely, to continue the engagement and dialogue, which will be in accordance with Israel, which will allow it to continue its war, or allow the 20 -point plan to be implemented and issued a joint statement.
Dar said he agrees with the latter option.
Responding to criticism of Prime Minister Shahbaz’s reaction to President Trump’s Gaza project, the FM said that the Prime Minister was in the transit and had other engagements and in fact he only responded to a tweet by the US president in a broader context.
He raised the question that 20 points were not the same as the proposed by eight Muslim countries.
Assuring the House that there will be a follow-up on the Gaza Peace Plan of Muslim countries, DPM said that Pakistan’s policy on Palestine is the same as that of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and there has been no change, nor will it change in the future.
Efforts to release the former senator from Israel’s detention
DPM Dar said, according to the unconfirmed information available to Tel Aviv, who was trying to break Tel Aviv’s blockade, providing a refreshment about Israeli -based global Somod Flotilla workers.
We have engaged a third influential European country and are using their diplomatic process and asked them to ensure the release of former Senator Musk.
Noting that Gaza Aid Flotilla was the only Pakistani in Israel, he said that no progress has been made in this case so far, according to the European Foreign Ministry and more information will be provided by Sunday.
However, the FM refrained from naming the country with which Pakistan is engaged in this regard.
At the UNSC meeting on September 24, columnist Sham John Jahanjo’s presence dispute, directing Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, DPM Dar said his name was not included in the “letter of letter” issued about the official delegation to attend the UNGA session.
However, he noted that there is another list of the Prime Minister’s delegation, which includes security personnel, Walt, speech authors, etc., in fact, named Junjo.
The columnist, who had made Israeli supporters in the past, made social media posts, claimed that Prime Minister Shahbaz personally entrusted him with the responsibility of drafting his Annanga speech and included it in a delegation in which his name is listed as a adviser.
Expressing his views about Pakistan’s strategic bilateral defense agreement (SMDA) with Saudi Arabia, the DPM noted that other countries also expressed interest and even reached them during the UNGA session.
Referring to the agreement between Islamabad and Riyadh Vehari, he said, “If you join more countries, it will become a ‘East NATO’.”
