Be really the way you think? This story begins with Edward Bernies, Freud’s nephew and a master’s craftsman. Bernies called his project “Engineering”, turned psychology into a tool cut of social control. Its freedom march’s flames were higher than the stunts of an advertising – it was revealed how the entire population could be bent without being aware of it.
He wrote, “The conscious and intelligent manipulation of organized habits and public opinion in democratic society is an important factor.” What Bernies did with cigarettes and newspapers has now been hanged by the algorithm: invisible, personal and restless, our focus, our beliefs, pulling the strings of our own self. Rainer Maria Rillie (1875-1926), a poet and novelist in Austria, once said about the modern spirit: We are “dragged out”, and is never allowed to rest. While Bernis applied this convincing method to the human mind, Gramsky, Sartre and Focalt warned their own breeds against the destructive implications of such advancements.
Antonio Gramsky reminds us that domination does not always wear chains. It often enters as “wise”. The domination works as a natural feeling of thinking. “The crisis contains the fact that the old man is dying and cannot be born,” he said, describing the people trapped between observation and renewal. Here someone listens to the echoes of Shah Latif’s passengers, who is trapped between the desert and the sea, is uncertain whether the horizon is a promise or a danger.
Michelle Focalt, sharpening the criticism, revealed how power was not only external repression but also internal design. Unless we become our own jailer, it ranks, makes usual and classification. Today, the prediction has become solid: the algorithm measurement, rating and routine -related precision, which can only estimate the focal. Plato’s cave now focuses on digital shadows and Socrates demanding that “unusual life is not able to live” is no longer optional – it is self -survival.
Loop is ruthless: Data cutting on each click, predicting our next weakness, giving the privilege of fast emotions, to normalize, the repetition makes it feel like reality. Nutsche warned, “Whoever fights the monsters should look at him that he himself does not become a monster.” Today, he wears the face of a monster. Marcus Oriles whispered, “You have strength on your brain – not outside events.” He is still in the fort. Bilia Shah will recognize the prison in intimacy in these feeds, in her plea to tear the veil of Alham.
Herbert Marcos in a dimensional man helps diagnose deep wounds. He argued that the Advanced Industrial Society offers the critical thinking by offering endless satisfaction that obliges us to the same system that exploits us. The “wrong needs” created by the consumer capitalist system confuse people freely. In our algorithmic period, the one-dimensional markos has been perfected: the feed does not only supply disturbances, it shapes self-desire, reduces the selection of the selection between brands, ideas or click-lying emotions-all of them are already selected by invisible hands.
Which Marcose called the loss of “negative thinking”, refusing to accept the truth, is exactly what the algorithm prepares for the horizon. One -dimensional is that you have to see everything you are seeing in your feed. Crying of floating Sarmast-“I’m a rebel, I am a lover, I am the truth”-Denial denies that a dimensional tries to erase.
In Pakistan, state institutions, political elites and academic officials once arranged the story through television and newspapers. Now, they do this through the (social media) platform that increases the anger and ends the disagreement. Legal measures, which are presented as reservations, are at risk of being a censorship method. The civil society has warned that these laws can reduce a free speech, which can silence the space of disagreement. Meanwhile, the wrath of the unwanted hurricanes through WhatsApp, Ticotok and Facebook, where the cause of emotions and rumors travels faster than reality.
In this place, all three devices – state power, corporate platforms and binding laws – are ready to remove supremacy from the air. Citizens are at risk of being at risk of Marcus’ concerns: a dimensional, repeating statement is designed elsewhere, making noise for reality. Warning about Shah Latif’s rulers who “offer sweet words but steal grains” seems to be.
And yet, the struggle is not over. Machine counting; Remember the poem. Algorithm compress; Poetry spreads. Where the wind blows, the candle of the fox is burning. Roman reminds that “the wound is the place where the light enters.” We are filed in the feeds, the matrix we weigh. / Scroll becomes a river and our names are freight – / a thousand mirrors show one hundred lies. / A quiet question opens the winter sky. To be paused, doubt, imagine otherwise the seeds of rebellion against a dimensional thinking. In a world that rewards the quantity, immense – silence, beauty, reflection – is a crack through which freedom returns.
With this struggle, six manifestations emerge – not as abuse, but as a tools of survival and renewal:
Awareness
We will not be blind. We will name the machine, expose the algorithm and call the markets and have been told that we will script our wishes. Awareness is a rebellion. It has to start eliminating it to see the architecture.
Refusal
We will not feed the beast. We will not move the lies, promote hatred, or reward them with anger. In the period of engineered speed, slowing down is resistance. Denial is the power. Latif’s lovers used to walk barefoot through the deserts – the denial is often the taste of freedom.
Education
We will teach ourselves and each other. Media literacy is no longer optional – it’s survival. In mosques, classrooms, cafes and streets, we will learn to ask, asking, questioning. Education is freedom. As Sachal sang, knowledge without courage is silence.
Usually
We will not accept the shadows for light. We demand transparency, we demand accountability. The algorithm should be open, the rules should serve the people, they should not be silenced. The demand is dignity. Like the Relie’s angel, who is still awakened, demands anxiety before being released.
Supportive
We will stop those who speak the truth when the truth is expensive. Journalists, poets, teachers, workers are imitative but important. Supporting them is to defend our own breath. Solidarity is survival. In the words of the badge, love is the highest prayer.
Create
We will not allow the machine to flatten the data points. We will write, sing, paint and imagine. Creation is resistance, creation is notorious, creation is the recovery of stolen dimensions from us. Creating is free. Shah Latif’s wandering, Rumi’s wandering Darwish, the restless ink of the brutality testifies that creation is survival.
The freedom of the brain is not taken in a shock. It is lost like light through the shutter. Marcose warned about societies where he thought he was in compliance. Gramsky, Focal and Bernies mapped the architecture of the elimination. But poetry – the continent and the locals alike – remind us that there can be a rebellion. Relke mourned the broken gods, Latif sang the song of love as an deportation, Sachil turned the rebellion into prayer. Together they whisper: Don’t be an engineer, not better, do not reduce the data. Re -claiming to his consent; Claim on your mind again. Claim your humanity again.
