UN: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has condemned the idea of dialogue with the United States, and has argued that it has no use for the country because the United States has already decided that results – to shut down Iran’s nuclear enrichment program.
“It’s not a conversation – this is dictation.”
Supporting the defense of uranium enrichment, the Iranian leader said that enrichment affects various aspects of people’s lives, including agriculture, environment, power energy, medicine, industries and other sectors.
Expressing his opinion on social media on Tuesday, he also revealed that Iran had achieved an advanced level in uranium enrichment. He made it clear that Iran does not need nuclear weapons, emphasizing that Iran has enriched uranium 60 % while the countries aim to strengthen nuclear weapons up to 90 % uranium.
He further explained that out of the ten countries capable of enriching uranium, Iran did not have a nuclear bomb nor intended to do so.
European powers, which are soon trying to impose sanctions on Iran on their nuclear program, met with the top Tehran diplomat on Tuesday, but there were no compromise.
However, the agreement was signed to continue the talks even after continuing the clock pieces in response to deep sanctions on Iran’s economy, even as Iran’s top leader resisted European pressure.
“Iran should never get nuclear weapons,” German Foreign Minister Johann Woodhol told reporters ahead of the UN General Assembly in New York.
But he added: “The chances of reaching the diplomatic solution are less than the implementation of sanctions.”
Khamenei said the Islamic Republic would not pressure to abandon the enrichment of uranium.
He said, “We have not surrendered and we will not. We did not put pressure on this matter or any other matter.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said, “It has been agreed that consultation with all parties involved will continue.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragachi is to reach an agreement with his British, French, German and European counterparts to avoid restoration of UN sanctions by the end of Saturday, which was suspended under an agreement signed in 2015.
‘The most dangerous weapon’
Aragchi also met with three European powers in New York as well as the head of the European Union’s Foreign Policy, Kaja Kalas.
Iran and European residents accuse each other of the failure of diplomatic efforts to reach a new deal about Tehran’s nuclear program, which is a long -standing point between the two sides.
European countries and the United States have tried to obtain an atom bomb to the Iranian government. Tehran has vigorously denied it, insisting that it has the right to civilian nuclear energy.
Israel launched a major military campaign against Iranian nuclear sites in June, with President Donald Trump joining US warplanes to drop bombs on key targets.
The Trump administration, which has long called for restoration of sanctions, has expressed his willingness to hold talks with Iran, which is suspected of Washington’s sincerity.
IAEA Director General Rafael Grisie told AFP on Monday that US Electoral Steve Watkov was looking for various ways to dialogue with Iran, without explaining further details.
The United States has not commented on any contact with Iran in New York.
But Khadamini said, “No one can talk to such a party.
Addressing the UN General Assembly, Trump said that US warplanes succeeded in “completely eliminating Iranian nuclear places”.
“My place, this is very easy,” Trump said. The world of terrorism can never be allowed to have a very dangerous weapon. “
The European party set three terms for extending the approval relief period to allow more time to negotiate a comprehensive agreement.
These include the resumption of direct negotiations with no pre -conditions, complete access to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors at Iranian nuclear locations, and accurate information about the space of enriched content.
The European party believes that no situation has been met.
Tehran has accused European powers of putting political pressure, which disrupts negotiations and dismisses claims to make claims a “balanced” proposal, whose details have not been disclosed.
