The Prime Minister’s assistant also emphasized that Pakistan has always maintained a defense position. “Our position has become clear: we do not start aggression”.
He noted Pakistan’s strong reaction to past disputes, saying, “If India attacks, we will respond.” Sanaullah stressed, “Pakistan’s position has always been defensive.

A day ago, Foreign Office spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan made it clear that the historical defense agreement signed between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is purely defensive in nature and is not intended for a third country.

“The agreement states that any aggression against any country will be considered aggression against both,” said a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Pakistan’s decades-old alliance with Saudi Arabia-which is the place of the most passionate places of Islam, is in common faith, strategic interests and economic mutual dependence.
In his press briefing, the spokesman added that during the visit, official -level talks were held and a high -level delegation participated.
The spokesman said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia shared a unique relationship with the Brotherhood and cooperation, in which the Pakistani people have deep devotion to the land of two holy mosques.
He noted that in the 1960s, defense cooperation had been the basis for relations, and the two leaders had pledged to further strengthen relations.
He said that the two sides reviewed their historical and strategic relations and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
According to him, the agreement reflects the commitment of both countries to promote defense cooperation and ensure joint security. He explained that under the agreement, aggression against a state would be considered aggression against both.
He emphasized that the Strategic Defense Agreement formally stated decades of strong partnerships that would play a significant role in regional peace, security and stability.
