QUETTA/Banu: Officials said Wednesday that terrorists attacked police and Levies stations in Sherani district of Balochistan, killing police constables and a Levy official and injuring more than six, while two attacks in Bannu failed.
Deputy Commissioner Hazrat Wali Kakar said the attack also damaged the stations’ communication system. Emergency was announced at Civil Hospital Zhob for the treatment of the injured.
Security sources said the clearance operations have been ordered to eliminate any threat in the area, and it has been confirmed that Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eliminate the curse of terrorism from the country.
Regional police officer Sajjad Khan said that several hours later, in Bannu, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, terrorists first targeted the Marian police station and, after being repulsed, attacked the Mazang checkpoint.
“Three terrorists were killed and four others were injured when their injured comrades escaped,” the senior police officer said. He added that three policemen were seriously injured.
According to RPO Khan, the police foiled both attacks with courage and tactics.
The day after the attacks, after the army’s media wing was reported, five Pakistani army soldiers, including a captain, were martyred in an explosive device (IED) attack in the district of Balochistan district.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the IED targeted soldiers during the intelligence -based Senateization operation in Sher Bandi, Kech on September 15.
“As a result, five brave sons of the clay accepted the testimony, including a captain,.”
In a follow -up action, security forces killed five terrorists belonging to Indian proxy group Fatnah al -Hindutan. In the surrounding area, Senatorization operations cleared any other militants.
Earlier, security forces eliminated 31 terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy “Fatna al -Khoraj” in two separate intelligence -based operations in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ISPR said, “During the operation, the soldiers themselves effectively engaged the location of the Khwarij, and after the intense exchange of fire, 14 Indian patrons of Kharij were sent to hell.”
The statement further said that another intelligence operation was carried out in Banno district, where security forces neutralized 17 more terrorists during the fire exchange.
In 2021, especially in the provinces of KP and Balochistan, the country has witnessed the increase in cross -border terrorist incidents since the Taliban’s rulers returned to Afghanistan.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has reaffirmed his commitment to eliminate terrorism from the country, saying that Afghanistan should choose between helping terrorists or standing with Pakistan.
He has warned that there will be zero tolerance for ambiguity on this matter.
Pakistan has hosted Afghans for more than four decades since the Taliban occupation in 2021. Some refugees were born and raised in Pakistan. Others are still waiting for the third country migration.
According to media reports, after the crackdown on non -documentary Afghans and legal status, more than 554,000 Afghans have been returned to April 2025, under the plan for Pakistan’s illegal foreign repatriation plan.
According to security sources, the masterminds and facilitators of terror are based in Afghanistan and they are being supported by India.
The two countries have shared an unsafe border spreading about 2, 2500 km with several crossing points, which is important as an important element of regional trade and an important element of relations between the people on both sides of the fence.
However, the issue of terrorism has become an important issue for Pakistan, which has called on Afghanistan to prevent its territory from attacking groups like TTP inside the previous area.
According to a report by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICS), in August, the country saw the rapid rise in militant attacks, increasing by 74 % compared to July.
Islamabad -based think tank recorded 194 deaths from militant attacks during the month.
