Banu: With the latest commitment to fight terrorism, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced on Saturday that Pakistan would take unprecedented action against terrorism, and would emphasize that the Afghan government should choose between helping terrorists or standing with Pakistan.
Addressing an important high -level meeting on terrorism during a visit to Bannu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Premier said that Pakistan would continue to respond strongly to those who facilitate terrorism and Indians’ earnings.
Prime Minister Shahbaz made it clear that anyone who speaks in favor of foreign elements or working as a facilitator will be considered their “device” and will be answered in the same language they understand.
He said that Afghan citizens are involved in terrorist incidents in Pakistan, adding that illegal Afghans will be expelled soon.
Pakistan has hosted Afghans for more than four decades since the Taliban occupation in 2021. Some refugees were born and raised in Pakistan. Others are still waiting for the third country migration.
According to media reports, after the crackdown on non -documentary Afghans and legal status, more than 554,000 Afghans have been returned to April 2025, under the plan for Pakistan’s illegal foreign repatriation plan.
The Prime Minister further said that people, state and Pakistani armed forces stand united like a strong wall against Indian proxies, they rejected politics and rejected the misleading statement on the matter.
During his visit, Prime Minister Shahbaz also inquired about the injured security personnel at the Joint Military Hospital (CMH) Bannu. The Peshawar Corps commander gave a detailed briefing on the regional security situation.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz and Field Marshal Munir also attended the last rites of martyred soldiers in Banu.
According to security sources, the masterminds and facilitators of terror are based in Afghanistan and they are being supported by India.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that his visit came after at least 12 soldiers were martyred and 35 terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy fitta al -Kharj were killed in two separate operations in KP from September 10 to 13.
In Bajur, security forces launched an intelligence operation (IBO) after reports of militants’ presence. “Our troops were effectively engaged in this place, and after severe exchange of fire, 22 terrorists were killed.”
“In a separate operation in South Waziristan, 13 more militants were killed in a separate operation in South Waziristan,” he added, adding that at least 12 soldiers also accepted the testimony during the exchange of intense fire.
Fatna al -Khadarj is a term that is used for the use of the state, referring to the Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which is allegedly launching an attack on the country from the Afghan soil.
The two countries have shared an unsafe border that extends about 2,500 km with several crossing points, which is important as an important element of regional trade and an important factor of relations between the people on both sides of the fence.
However, the issue of terrorism has become an important issue for Pakistan, which has called on Afghanistan to prevent its territory from attacking groups like TTP inside the previous area.
Islamabad’s reservations have also been confirmed by a report submitted by the UN Security Council (UNSC) by an analytical cooperation and sanctions monitoring team, which has revealed a nexus between Kabul and the TTP, which has previously provided logistics, operational, and later.
According to a report by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICS), in August, the country saw the rapid rise in militant attacks, increasing by 74 % compared to July.
Islamabad -based think tank recorded 194 deaths from militant attacks during the month.
