US President Donald Trump AHS called on supporters to respond peacefully to the killing of Charlie Kirk, a right -wing campaign, as the killer ended more than 24 hours of a shooting, which put the already divided country on the shore.
Trump, who promised a widespread response after being angry against the “radical leftist”, told reporters that Kirk had been a “lawyer for non -violence”.
“That’s how I want to see the answer to people,” he said.
Republican Haq’s 31 -year -old superstar Kirk, who used to increase youth support for Trump, was shot dead on Wednesday at a large crowd addressed at Utah Valley University.
But a day later, officials said the gunman was massive.
Utah law enforcement officials posted, “Currently several leads are being investigated, but no suspect is in custody.”
FBI Special Agent Robert Bohsl said earlier, “We are doing everything possible to find it, and we are not sure how far it has gone.”
The FBI, which called the attack on Kirk a “targeted”, posted photos of a young man called “potential shooter”.
In these pictures, a person was shown a black baseball cap, black sunshine, and the jeans, which showed a man wearing a long -sleeved peak design, including an American flag.
Police say they believe the shooter fired a bullet from the roof to 200 yards (180 meters), killing Kirk in the neck.
A high -power bolt action rifle was recovered in one area of the forest.
Investigators seeking the man who killed a right -wing worker have appealed for public help. For the information caused by his arrest, a reward of up to 100,000 was posted.
Hundreds of agents of 20 law enforcement agencies have fought the crisis to identify the culprit, but at a media briefing Thursday evening, they were rarely seen to be shown.
“We can’t do our job without the help of the public,” said Spencer Cox, the governor of Utah. He added that he received more than 7,000 leads.
“We need more help, as much as we can potentially get. Any videos or photos that you may find […] Our digital media should be presented in the tip line. “

Reflecting the political nature of the murder, Kirk’s coffin was transported to its hometown Phoenix in JD Venice’s official plane.
In the footage, the vice president was shown with a hand on the coffin because it was reached to Air Force 2.
Kirk’s widow, Erica, took over Venice’s wife when she landed in a powerful turning point USA’s headquarters in Arizona.

Fox News host Jesse Waters said Wednesday that the murder showed that its side was an attack in its political arena.
“Whether we want to accept it or not, they are in a fight with us. And what are we going to do about it?” He asked his audience.
‘Shaheed’
On Thursday, students of Utah Valley University described the shock, and their wider fears were deepened by political division across the country.
Dave Sanchez told AFP that he witnessed the murder, “made him sick from my stomach.
“We see it all the time, and likewise, it really feels like a person in your family, your brother has been killed,” said 26 -year -old Sanchez.
Kirk, who praised supporters as a “martyr” for conservative ideology, had an extraordinary impact in American politics.
He laid the foundation of the Turking Point USA in 2012 to operate a conservative approach to youth, with his natural exhibition he became a spokesperson for going to television networks.
Kirk used many of his audiences to provide support for immigration anti -immigration policies, clear -speaking Christianity and gun ownership on Tukuk, Instagram and YouTube, and to spread carefully modified clips during discussions in many college events.
Three months ago, a Democratic lawmaker and her husband were shot dead by a man from Minnesota, and Trump survived the murder in July 2024 during his election campaign.
