The Astorik chapter was recently written in Rabat, Morocco, on Pakistan’s sports trip, as ambassadors of the Aka Junior Golf League (AJGL) participated in the inaugural ISF World School Golf Championships.
The incident, held at the Royal Royal Golf Dar S. Salam, became a clear moment for junior golf in Pakistan, not because of the podium ending, but for the pride, humble and purpose, these young athletes arrived globally.
Pakistan’s participation, among 62 rivals from 17 countries, is a symbol of more than just a first film, indicating his intention. It was a declaration that Pakistan’s low -level golf is living and ready, which is ready to embrace professionalism, ability and humble internationals.
The brutal tournament faces yards, 6,454 yards for boys and 6,047 yards for girls, green speed 11, and dense raw that can also be anxious for experienced professionals, these young people laid their foundations. From the U15 Girls Division, 13 -year -old Zuya Qureshi stood up with a steady end, while U -18 Golfer Shazmina Fatima Khan showed the trough in the 9th despite the challenging round.
On the side of the boys, Mohammad Musa Khan and Mohammad Wajahat Anwar were made more than four rounds, who continued to eliminate the mid tables in their age groups. But the actual victory was not in number. It was flexible.
After just three months of preparations under the tough framework of AJGL, young golfers of Pakistan rose to adjust, adapt and meet world standards.
It was not just a tournament, it was a change. Players participated in the ISF Academy Workshops on anti -doping, injury prevention, and athlete protective measures. He engaged in cultural exchange during the night of the United Nations, built Kamardi, which is beyond the borders.
The world took notice. Tournament director Monia Amalo, a former late professional, was apparently affected by the commitment and infectious energy of the Pakistani contingent. Chinese Taipei, Morocco, and Bangladesh coaches praised discipline, and some also praised expansion invitations for joint training measures in the future.
Yet this moment did not happen by accident. Behind it was the AJGL leadership’s irrelevant theory. Lieutenant General (RATED) Hilal, AJGL’s patron chief, praised Dr. Asma Shami, the tireless force behind the league, and ruled the official Manoza Shaheen, whose skills and determination helped the bold international move to art. He emphasized that the International Exhibition is key to promoting the capabilities of the elite, adding that hosting the International Junior Tournament in Pakistan can increase its impact at home.
Chairperson AJGL, Dr. Asma Shami echoed the emotions. “I am overwhelmed by the success and pride of my juniors on such a global platform. This is a humble but meaningful move towards the development of golf in Pakistan. I thank General Hilal for his permanent guidance, his heartfelt thanks to Monazza Shaheen for his great break.
The vision is clear: nurture juniors, empower them with structure, provide exhibitions, and invest in long golf games. These children returned not only with score cards, but also with inspiration. They have seen the bar, touched the quality, and now know what happens in it.
This is the place where federations, sponsors and policy makers should step. Don’t let it happen once. Let it become a launch pad of a generation that views golf not as a privilege but as a path of purpose.
Junior Golfers of Pakistan have abolished their international journey. The next festival is long, but with the right backing, their next destination can be podium.
