He explained, “I will be wearing a light-hit-hitting suit. It is not the Army’s official uniform. It is designed for tolerance, which is a symbolic way to lift his courage on my shoulders as a sign of respect. It is not a tribute.”
He said, “Every mail I am running will respect his memory. This record effort is bigger than me. This is a message for the moving community that the marathon can have meaning – they can be a platform for respecting, sacrificing and gathering people.”
