KARACHI/Islamabad: The Pakistan Department of Department (PMD) and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), along with the latest predictions of more showers in the city between August 27 and 30, with widespread heavy rainfall during the same magic, Pakistan’s Meteorological Department (PMD) and National Disaster Management (NMD).
North Karachi, New Karachi, North Nazimabad, Board Office, Scheme 33 and Surjani Town were included in the areas that won the morning drizzle.
According to the PMD, another monsoon system is likely to affect Karachi and other areas of Sindh from August 27. The department has predicted heavy rainfall in the upper and central areas of the country between August 27 and August 27.
Rain is expected in Sindh and Balochistan between August 27 to 29. The PMD said that monsoon stripes are already entering the northern parts of the country.
The advisory added that heavy rains may receive in Neelam, Muzaffarabad, Rawalkot and other adjoining areas till August 27, while some parts of Gilgit -Baltistan are likely to receive heavy rains with thunderstorms and thunderstorms.
Rain is also expected in Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Kohat and Peshawar. In Punjab, possibly rains in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murri, Galit, Atak, Chakwal, Jhelum and Mandi Bahadine. From Friday evening, Matthew, Tharparkar, Umrakot and Mirpurkhas are being forecast to cause a storm with rain.
The NDMA has also warned of widespread heavy rainfall and floods in many parts of the country that begin today, in its latest consultation, starting today.
The advisory says that GB and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who are most affected by monsoon rains, are likely to see these regions with rains and thunderstorms, which contain heavy rainfall that floods, land slides and glaciers in the mountain valley.
According to the NDMA, heavy rainfall is likely in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhalm, Mianwali, Khushbli, Khushb, Sialkot, Gujarat and Hafizabad from August 23 to August 30.
Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Mansehra, Batagram, Abbottabad, Malakand, Peshawar, Charsadda, Noshira, Mardan, Tanks, Bannu and Lakki Marwat are also expected to heavy rains during the same period.
The NDMA added that Gilgit, Skardo, Hanza, Ghazer, Qatar, Astor, Ghana and Shaigar may also experience heavy rains from August 23 to 30.
The authority has instructed provincial and district agencies to accelerate the monitoring of snow sites, practice evacuation exercises in weak communities and keep the rescue services on high alert.
In the meantime, urban agencies and law enforcement agencies have also been asked to develop emergency projects, supply goods and ensure that the roads can be cleaned quickly if floods or land sliding is prevented.
The NDMA has directed the public to avoid unnecessary travel in the flood -hit areas, especially near rivers and fast flowing canals and streams, warning that vehicles can flow.
People living in the lower areas have been told to be vigilant and follow the evacuation plans if instructed.
Tourists have been advised to avoid tracking around the glaciers, take pictures near dangerous sites or rotate in unstable regions.
The NDMA has predicted heavy rains in several parts of Sindh and Balochistan during the aforementioned period.
In Sindh, Thatta, Sujul, Badin, Tharparkar, Hyderabad, Jamshoro and Nawabshah are also likely to receive rainfall during the same period. Other districts, including Dadu, Khairpur, Skor, Ghotki, and Lakhana have also been warned.
In upper Sindh, Jacobabad, Shakirpur, Kishore and Shaheed Benazir Abad may face heavy rainfall.
In Balochistan, some parts of the province, including Lasbela, Khosdar, Awaran and Kalat, can observe heavy rainfall. Coastal cities like Western, Turbut, Kech and Panjgur are also expected to be affected.
Wet magic can reach Quetta, Ziarat, Zhob and Loralai, while intermittent rainfall is being predicted for Barakhan, Mossacal, Dera Bugti and Kohlo.
The NDMA alert states that the rains can mobilize the floods of the citizens and create land sliding in weak areas, which warns people to be cautious.
The flow of the Indus River may increase rapidly, especially in Gadu, Tunsa and Kalabag, while Ravi and Chenab are also expected to swell with discharge.
Officials say emergency equipment will be kept in advance, evacuation centers will be developed, and the initial warning system will be active to help communities through wet magic.
