Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that India is on the verge of destabilizing the region and warned that any wrong calculation could lead to a major controversy in the region.
Addressing the Pakistani Daspura during his visit to the US, the army chief condemned the recent Indian aggression, calling it a shameful act under false excuses. He said that Indian aggression brought the region to the brink of a dangerous war.
He said that Pakistan has fought a successful diplomatic war against India’s discrimination and duplication policies.
He said that Pakistan responded to provocation with determination and strength, which successfully stopped the widespread increase.
Speaking on regional issues, Field Marshal Munir said that India wants to present itself as a “Vishwa Guru” (world leader), but it is far from reality.
He expressed deep concern over the involvement of Indian intelligence agency in international terror activities.
Referring to such activities, the army chief cited examples such as the murder of Sikh leader Hardp Singh Najar in Canada, the case of eight Indian naval officers in Qatar, and incidents such as Indian spies arrested from Balochistan.
Kos Munir thanked US President Donald Trump, saying his strategic leadership not only avoided the war in Pakistan India but also stopped many other global conflicts.
The Army Chief said that his second visit in less than two months is a sign of a new dimension in the US -US relations, which aims to keep him at a constructive, sustainable and positive pace.
He expressed hope that a huge investment is expected after the trade agreement between Pakistan and the United States.
The Army Chief said that the implementation of a number of memorandum (MUS) signed with China, the United States, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates) is underway to promote economic cooperation and investment.
Field Marshal Munir described Pakistanis abroad as a source of pride and dignity, saying that they were as excited about the country as they live.
He rejected the derogatory term used for talented citizens involved in the manpower in different countries, saying that Pakistanis abroad are not a matter of “brain drain” but “mental benefit”.
He added that he is just as excited about the country as he returns.
Kos Munir urged him to trust the bright future of Pakistan and actively contribute to attracting investment.
Field Marshal Munir said that Pakistan’s prosperity is closely linked to the Pakistani community living all over the world, whose devotion to the country is a proven fact.
He added that Pakistanis abroad have first responded to natural disasters requests for assistance.
He also highlighted the importance of understanding the mentality, relationships and priorities of the new generation as an important need of the hour.
Field Marshal Munir said, “64 % of our youth population is full of potential and will play a key role in the future construction.”
He also emphasized that the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), it is not an internal matter of India but an incomplete thing in the international agenda.
He confirmed that Kashmir is the vein of Pakistan’s liver and has confirmed the country’s full support for UN Security Council resolutions on the disputed area.
He confirmed that there would be no sympathy with the terrorists, who would be brought to justice with full force, and warned that anti -state elements were also using social media to spread chaos.
He added that several terrorist groups, including “Khawarij” from Afghanistan, remained active against Pakistan. Pakistan used the term Fatna al-Kharaj so that it would refer to the Tahrik-Pakistan Pakistan (TTP) of militant militants along with banned militants.
Field Marshal Munir is engaged in high -level interactions with senior political and military leadership during an official visit to the United States.
