ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday confirmed the commitment to eliminate terrorism during a review meeting of the Steering Committee on Anti -Terrorism.
Prime Minister Shahbaz said, “The state of Pakistan is determined to root out the curse of terrorism and the world recognizes our successful acts against terrorists.”
Premier emphasized a multi -dimensional strategy in the fight against terrorism, which includes ground action, related legislation, effective public communication, and fighting extremist ideology.
He added, “Pakistan has made full and effective use of important elements such as ground operations, related legislation, meaningful public communication and extremist thinking.”
He called for better harmony between the federal and provincial governments to ensure severe implementation of the counter -terrorism recommendations.
He remarked, “The role of the brave sons of the armed forces in this war on terror is commendable and commendable.”
He said: “including me, the whole nation is proud of the officers and officials who have declared their lives for the country and their families who were suffering from a spirit of sacrifice.”
“The entire Pakistani nation, the brave forces, the law enforcement agencies, and the intelligence agencies are united and focused on the fight against terrorism,” he added.
The Prime Minister said: “The brave forces of Pakistan fought the terrorists in Operation Red al-Fassad and Zarb Azzab, and the world recognized Pakistan’s victory in the recent historic market.”
He acknowledged that the provincial governments, the Intelligence Bureau, the Interior Ministry, the Anti -Terrorism Department, especially the Punjab Anti -Terrorism Department, have taken very effective steps in the fight against terrorism.
He emphasized, “Pakistan is working on a comprehensive, effective and viable strategy so that it can completely eliminate fitness and other social elements.”
He said: “With the joint strategy and cooperation of all relevant agencies, effective operations were initiated against smuggling, which made it possible to avoid this danger.”
“Smuggling prevention has had a positive impact on the economy,” he said.
“Only a peaceful and strong state structure independent of terrorism restores investors ‘confidence internationally,” he added: “The government has brought revolutionary changes such as digitalization and tax system improvement in the tax system to restore investors’ confidence internationally.”
He said: “The Pakistan Stock Exchange increases the record and the improvement of global ranking indicates the stability of Pakistan’s economy, and it will restore the confidence of foreign investors.”
He observed, “According to international law, the implementation of the return program for illegal Afghan citizens in Pakistan is effectively underway.”
